Moderating Team

After much arm twisting and a hefty signing fee I am pleased to announce Paul, aka BadBlood, is joining the moderating team.
You will have seen he is very keen and committed to the league but doesn't have too much online experience yet so he will be taking on the role of Assistant Divisional Moderator.

This means he will be able to help out with admin such as posting races and loading results but will not be involved with the actual race moderation. Once he gains more online time, and he is rapidly improving, we can take things from there.

As old age creeps ever closer and my joints begin to creak with every twitch of the steering wheel. The mind plays tricks and the eyes glaze over from time to time, remembering past Waza glories and days gone by.. I find myself in the Rest Home for Old Moderators. Eased out to the edges of the management team and given the honorary ( if somewhat telling) title of  "Senior Consultant Moderator"  by the well meaning young bloods who are taking over the controls at UKGPL central.
But it allows me time to reflect and think, as I sit in my comfy armchair with fluffy slippers and my pipe, listening to old radio commentaries of Grand Prix races from yesteryear, on how I am going to make those bloody young upstarts suffer when I get behind the wheel at the next race!!!!!

And you truly do!  

I was reading old race reports from past seasons a few days ago. It may sound cheesy, but we had such great races, memories of which came back to me after I started reading. I was surprised I can actually remember most of those races, although I needed such an incentive.

Of course, as you are aware, I also simply enjoy reading about myself , but you've really made some fantastic reports, Evil!. And if any of our newer members wants to enjoy a good read, I strongly suggest that they use the SROU past season standings and click on each race to open them up. You won't be disappointed! (and I don't mean just the reports for races in which I took part, lol). Phil's, Tim's (Mutram) and Steve's reports for the different divisions are also a great read.
