Season 43 – Mixed Open Wheel Championship

Please check the Season 43 details regarding rules and the Mixed Open Wheel Championship pages in particular.

This season, races are to be run at 60fps – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod. If you have issues read festers post.

Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 65F1, 66F1,68F1 (Early) and 68F1 (Late) only.
Date: Every second Tuesday from 15th September 2023
Time: No later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server: TBA
Race List: IGOR

Handicapping
The cars are divided into groups which are based as closely as possible on the manufacturers. Drivers shall pick one group and only drive the cars from that group.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

Do we have to declare the group before the race?

I don't think it is necessary (apart from Works drivers being restricted to certain groups) but after you first race you will locked into the group(s) associated with your car choice. It would probably be prudent for the moderators to list the drivers and their associated group in the race announcements as a reminder to everyone.

If you don't want to declare your group before the first race you could be listed as TBD for the first race.
