Help me brands is a no go

Downloaded the brands 67 hi res track , all seems OK with GEM etc , can select the track , it loads up as normal but only as far as the race screen,   clickying on the green button gives an "error gpl must close" type message 

Do I try re loading the track ? if so will it overwrite it,  or should I delete first 

any clues

Famous last words but I think you need to delete it first. I had a similar problem with a Nurby update and just deleted the track from the GPL directory and reloaded it.
I haven't heard of a problem with the Brands hi res version but just try running it on the basic version instead.

When we ran Brands in 65s I had to race with the very low res version.

deeleted high res loaded up with standard track 

Since I done me new gpl install all these tracks are in there full glorious resolution, something I never had before , downside is its like racing a new simm , all the old reference points for braking turning in etc all seem different
