Sorry for not being able to attend this event as planned. I've been involved in an RTA and its kind of screwed my day up nicely. No one was hurt but I had to wait for four hours for the tow-truck to pick up my crippled van and I've only got just got home. Shame to have missed this one because I had practised long and hard and was starting to put solid times in - 1:14s at Donny and 1:53`s at Aintree. Hope you all had fun and see you all on friday for Adelaide.

Glad to hear you are OK. Missed you. It was .... ... different Not quite the turn out I had hoped for but we had some fun. I was in the 1:55s at Aintree but my PC blew up and I lost my setups. Couldnt figure it out in qually and the Honda was awful. Discoed as I was approaching the line. Better than Donny though I had gone round the track five or six times but I didnt really know it and it was like starting the novices again. All over the place. <sigh>

Donny was undergeared Aintree was understeered Had a bit of fun in Aintree (donut contest with the "Antipodian in a Whale") for a few laps until some scouse nicked me inner tubes whilst passing the grandstands Felt a bit deflated after that

Results for the first two races are in - moderation was 'no names, no pack drill'. Standings after two races are: Fulvio 55 pts Evil 48 pts Ronnie 39 pts - placed higher than Natan because of 2nd at Aintree Natan 39 pts Nigel 32 pts Bernie 29 pts Badblood 25 pts (plus a possible bonus of 25 points for coming second in a practice race to Goran, in a race of two. Ahem) Maddog 16 pts Fragfritz 11 pts So, and I may never get to say this again, its all to play for going into the final week of the series Well done to Fulvio and Clive for the wins. See you all at Brands in a week.

I enjoyed these fun races. 65's at Donny was a bit of a surprise in the Cooper. I did not expect to be as competitive as it turned out, especially as I discovered just before the race started that I was only using 5 gears not 6??!! F2's at Aintree were even more of a shock to the system!! Boy that took some getting used to!!. Fulvio was the class of the field and although as I got used to these cars and the handling I could not quite close the gap. Oh!! and running out of fuel 2 laps from the end didn't exactly help much, allowing Rocket Ronnie to regain his second place which I thought I had safely under my control!! Thanks to Paul for something a bit different. I have had GPL for about 10 years and have never even tried the trainers before. It felt like I imagine a Formula Ford race feels in real life, always waiting for a rush of power that never materialises!! Great fun and I think we should do it again sometime.

I was WS - without setup, on arrival at Donnington. I soon struck gold, amongst all the recently aborted F1 modifications, to the track, and was almost able to hang with he leaders, in the early laps. But I managed to loose track of the track, a couple of times, and on the last lap, I almost ran out of fool! Grumble! Luckily, there was just enough of me, to limp over the line, a disappointed 5th.

I had a lot of fun Paul. Two tracks ripe for cutting and the Advanced Trainer car which, like Clive, I have never driven before until you pointed them out. This event was well worth your effort and I'm looking forward to the final two outings. Thanks.

I have put up a Brand Hatch server for the Porsche race next week. I am testing this installation so please let me know by PM if you have any problems.

Just grabbed the GT mod and looking forward to trying things out. Anyone have a suggested setup for the Porsche?
I was wondering if it is possible to enforce a fixed set up via the server. I remember seeing it in Nascar 2003 multiplayer, you would go to a track and everyone used the same set up, provided by that server. That could lead to some very interesting battles, if done over a series of races, I would think.
