Well, I have to confess I only know Bathurst through some you tube videos of GPL laps, so cant really judge if the quality of racing there would be affected by the size of the car. However, I have tried the F2 in St Jovite and frankly they dont seem easier to drive than a 69x. It is all relative to the skills and likings of people, but I think both for racing and easyness to handle, nothing beats the 69x mod apart from maybe the 65s. As for the size, boh, never really felt it made much of a difference in racing with GPL, where you need to leave a lot of room anyway to stay safe. If we were talking GTs maybe..
As for point B., if you lose the tow at Reims, it's going to be a sea of boredom anyway, 30mph more or less arent going to make any difference, the track offers nothing in itself, you cant make up any real ground through driving skills as there are 2 corners and a half and people driving in a tow are going to leave you for dead anyway, so wings or no wings you better stay in touch..
Point C must be an aussie joke, but I dont get it, unless it is you trying to sell us that V8s are actually racing cars?
Anyway, I think Bathurst was already going to be F2, so this is academic. You were talking Interlagos, where the issues about racing shouldnt apply, as the track is wide as a landing strip, perfect for planes, you see?
Nothing personal Geoff, just didnt like your idea really, but theres nothing wrong in discussing proposals, we just need to know what Billy thinks about it.
