Is there any chance to try out at some point Dessauer Rennstrecke and Belle Isle (full)? Dessauer atleast looks very stable, and is a great fun to drive on.

My brake tests are often followed by break tests, so it's good to have resets, as these make life less testing. Sad

I managed to find 10 minutes to download and do a few laps on this new track over the weekend and I had no probs in those 10 mins other than trying to identify which corner I was approaching!! lol

I got caught out a couple of times when what I thought was an approach to a fast left hander turned out to be yet ANOTHER hairpin!!! I think there are 3 tight left handers on the track map, I'm sure I discovered 2 more at least!!

Looks like a fun track, with some very fast sweeping sections followed by some heavy braking zones and VERY tight corners! I forsee a few multiple car incidents Roll Eyes.

It would be interesting to know what sort of lap times people are getting around here in the big 66's? In the few laps that I tried I had a best of 2:48' ish, with a few grass cutting episodes, so I would expect to be able to clip a couple of seconds off of that once I have my sat nav programmed correctly  Roll Eyes

Ah, so it was you that "fixed" all the freezes just to avoid the track for the future  devil

Anyway thanks all for the test even if there were not enough drivers really to test the track did not even manage this so off to the not wanted tracks list.

Still there were a result and here it is:

I think my Disco was down to LAN connection rather than server type stuff , I was expecting the disco as the middle red lag ? bar went up through the roof  Shocked

Thought the track was good otherwise , cant comment on how good / bad it is for racing   Roll Eyes

Just for the record, mine was not a disco..it was a phone call!!

But I should apologise really for using the Honda, it was too fast and I should have taken the Eagle perhaps. I was slowly getting the right line and gear for parts of the track and the sector times were improving.

The biggest problem is definitely getting the car to accelerate out of those 3 hairpins!! it seemed to take about 5 minutes for the engine to pick up despite running an extra low 1st gear  Undecided

I blew my engine off the line, spun a few times and ended up last by miles, would never have cought up, i would have let the fone ring Smiley
Has new sufers paradise 68 ever been tested? if not, might be worth considering.

Yep , very strange these `low torque in low gears ` behaviour of GPL 66s cars .
Wonder how realistic it is ….

You seemed to come past me, in rather a hurry Garreth.  And '66 was the 1st year for the 3 litre formula, so engines were undergoing development.  Perhaps torque development came after peak development.

I soldiered around at a sensible pace, and survived to the finish.  I might've compared the track to Spa, but  for the roadblocks, and the very slow quicksand. Roll Eyes
