I have the circuit downloaded on my system and I could forward the file to Paul to add to the UKGPL archives? Meanwhile I will also try and track down the source. N.B. Take a look at the SRMZ link on the Blue Mountain section of Track database because there is an excellent update for the graphics BUT be sure to scroll down and get the revised update that solves the screen freezes and crashes. |

I have signed up for the Friday league because I really wanted to add more GPL races to my schedule. I will not be able to race every Friday, but I am highly anticipating the Fridays that I am able to race.

The first half of the season is nearing completion with only 2 more circuits to go. I know that it means 4 more Fridays taking us up to the Christmas break, so there is still more fun to come. I am currently compiling a list of tracks for the second half of the season so we could tweak things to spice it up a little.......or leave things exactly as they are.  1) Is the current mix of Real/Fantasy tracks about right? 2) Should the "Lights" have their handicap increased slightly or is the balance of cars about right? 3) Would it be good to change the choice of cars both for Lights and Heavies for the second half of the season, but still try and retain the same "speed difference". |

Hang on - *nearly* halfway?! So is that 80 (admittedly short) races in total?! eek! As far as car choices, maybe the lights still have too many wheels for me to be competitive [despite me having the heavy-advantage] And this is probably is just me - but I'm still wondering what advantage exactly is gained with the Porsche 910 GT? In my case, I've just stuck with it/'lucky' setup as the other cars go off at every corner... Or is *that* the point of the 910, it's relatively easier to stay on track? If so, I stick with my decision! (at least it seems as if it's trying to do something - unlike the blub-blub-blub-blub Chaps). I am really enjoying the CanAm portion though. That is quite fun to drive; I'm just too inconsistent/ragged - but still good Fri entertainment. And to think that I only originally joined up initially to do the F2 event every other week. In short - so answers to the questions; but thanks for the series so far. Cheers, Dave. |

I was holding back my late charge for points until the second half of the season and pacing myself!!! But I guess we might want to run something similar next season in 2014?? In answer to Dave's comments about the 910 Porker. Yes you are spot on about it being extremely driveable and sure footed. If this series re appears in 2014, I WILL include some more twisty circuits where it will prove its potential. |

Keep it coming Clive, whenever, with whatever tracks and whatever cars and handicaps you see fit. As long as it continues to cater for all tastes from super serious to good old fashioned fun seekers, count me in. A great way to spend Fridays! Just an idea but to counter the odd twisty tracks that some want, the odd oval track might not be out of place with the short race format and would surely give a big advantage to the Heavies if they think its too easy for the Lights? Thanks again for organising.
