I've installed GPL with the all-in-one-installer (GPL ver. 1.3) and I've downloaded GEM+ and the 60 fps update and activated that in GEM+ - I guess I just start Igor through GEM+ with 60 fps enabled and then join the race tonight (given I get access to servername and password) ?
Good, make sure that the 60fpsv2newmod is checked in GEM (sounds like you have that done). Then click on iGOR. In the chat window, click on the channels button and add the #ukgpl channel. The password for the chatroom is "savage". You will also see the servers in iGOR. |

Thx for the info, I've found the password :-)
I've checked the "60fpsv2" in GEM, so I'm guessing that's correct.. (edit: found out that was the wrong one, but picked the other one and could join the practise server..)
Lol Dave, I (or anybody else for that matter) have ever considered me famous, but yeah my GPL rank is -43'ish, though it has to be said that, that was a looong time ago, haven't raced for 11 years, just stumbled across GPL last night and after som offline races I thought it would be fun to try and race online again, so here I am :-)
There wasn't really a way for me to gauge the level of the divisions (works/privateer) so considering my time away from GPL I decided to go for the lower of the two, I'm just looking for some fun and my practice has been in the cooper, so I'm gonna go with that, so I'm not really expecting to run at the front ;-)

I have processed the registration. There's only one race to go this season, Interlagos 1973, coming Sunday. The racepassword is on top of the racepost, you can see it I think 48 hours before the event. Good luck, and welcome!  |

A driver who fails to start any of the first 5 races will only be eligible for an initial allocation of 5 tokens (rather than 10) but will still receive a further 10 tokens for each race they start (including their first race). This means you can't take a Lotus or Eagle, as you only have 15 tokens to spend. So the best car you can take would be Ferrari |
