I like this course. Twisty yet fast and with no haybales or concrete tyres to spoil the fun. I enjoyed the racing with Fran then Bernie but the lead pack was nowhere to be seen until they started lapping me.

My first win with UKGP since 11 months. Last was in Interlagos 67 Privateers during season28... !
It was an easy race, thanks to Jani and Batian too busy to be here (Euro 2016 ?) !
During the first 10-12 laps, I keep an eye to the gap with Philippe, then I was more relax. Thanks to the backmarkers when I overlapped them. They did their best on a track where it is not easy to overtake. Grats to Philippe and Dave for the podium. Grats to Francesco, it should not be easy to drive the Honda here !!
Next race in Riverside should be more fun, I like this technical and fast track.

Likewise , but I was frustrated with my lack of pace , having to press to hard trying to keep up then stuffing it . Lack of practice plus not driven GPL or the Coop for yonks didn't help . One thing I do not like about this track is the dark tarmac which makes the racing line and corner entry very difficult to see ( with my tired old eyes anyway )

This track is no longer a horrama for most of our seasoned campaigners, and I'd no chance of staying with the leaders. But this meant a good mid-field battle with Ronnie and Billy, who were nipping at my tail. I managed to fend off their attentions, without using a fender, for a good mid-field finish. The battle was already half won, by arriving with a good connection, and with it, a motor that remained fully connected. The replay suggests some minor dropouts. Also shows how not all our seasoned campaigners, have mastered the 'spin turn' technique when stopped, and facing backwards. A big timewaster, to turn around as if you're driving the family saloon. Mastering a 2 second technique could save you 10. And why is it, I started and finished the race mid-field, when the dark stuff under my wheels looked more like Tarmac? Grumble!

Congrats David R! I had fun practicing on this track. I think that I like it much more now than my first attempt. Although, it will take me a long time before I learn the fast way around it. Sorry that I could not race yesterday. Hopefully I can make the next race.

Reasonably satisfied with that. I could not get near a 1,31 in the Cooper so a midfield battle was a good result - duly provided by Ronnie & Martin. Not many places you can overtake at Jarama so it was a case of not making mistakes. Ronnie - the only contact I can remember was with a car that was sideways across the track - it wasn't a Ferrari. Footnote to say thanks to Fran. I closed up on the last lap & needed to get padt without loosing a place to Ronnie Fran gave me room to pass. Good to see my Black Night team mates on the podium - we didn't have a good start at Monaco.

I noticed you dancing around a bit Francesco but it did not seem too bad , I have noted your problem has been a lot worse in previous S29 races , perhaps you are on wireless connection giving the lag ?

[/quote] Regarding a new PC, I recommend waiting until the new graphics cards are available from AMD/Radeon and Nvidia. They should offer more performance for less money, and they should be in stores sometime this summer.

It may be true, but [I know!] that thinking like that means you never end up with a new machine! But whatever you do, don't do as someone I know did once - bought a PC on a don't pay for it now, pay for it in 1 year's time. Was quite depressing for them to pay a lot of money for an outdated machine 1 year later...!
