UKGPL Season 17 - Inter-League race - Kyalami This is the sixth Interleague race of our season 17, and will use the 67 carset. Our guests will be the American league Online Autoracing Organization. oAo has a forum at Speedgeezers, and places emphasis on safety and clean racing, as some of our top drivers who also race there will be aware. UKGPL won the first race between our clubs at Silverstone last season, with Neil taking the honours. The race is at the earlier start time of 9pm UK. Each league is to field nine cars, and there are no chassis handicaps, drivers will be racing to complete the distance and score points for their team. Let's have the usual warm welcome for our guests from oAo! Please be in VROC UKGPL chatroom passworded 'Savage' by 19:55GMT, (You will need to set up a channel called ukgpl if you haven't already done so) Igor and Race passwords: see aboveServer 6.ukgpl IP address TBC Race date = 17-05-2009 Track = Kyalami Time = 20:00GMT 21:00 BST Variant = 67F1 Damage Model = PRO Qually time = 35 minutes. Race length = 40 laps (complete 36 laps to score points as a finisher) Chassis assignments will be posted here when finalised: b]Lotus[/b] Sam Eagle Jethro Ferrari Doni Brabham John Brabham Clive Honda Hristo Cooper Mike Cooper Bernie BRM Jack If you'd like to represent UKGPL in this race please post on the thread and advise what chassis you'd prefer. Well my brave comrades, gallantry has been of short supply this season in the O'Ferrall garage. Though there is always room for modesty, your honourable fellow racer feels the urge to thrust himself forward upon this occasion, if only in the last resort. Perhaps there will be rumour-mongers who whisper that this bold sally is to atone for error, but then we need not worry unduly about them! Just have confidence that Reed Racing, the idols of the crowd and envy of the league, are always happy to supply drivers to further the greater glory of UKGPL!

Thanks Evil, my reasoning behind this is to compete for the top positions, yet take the burden of Honda engine survival on my back. If you don't mind I'd need a few more people to step up before giving you a chassis. The BRM has been delivered to your garage, Dave.  miner, is that a hand up for participation ? |

I seem to be running away with clubmans while Sam's been away - If you'd like I'm sure I can get the Honda to the end without exploding  It may not still have all it's wheels mind you  |

Ok then, for the moment that's what I've come up with:
Hristo............Honda
Dave.............BRM
John.............Brabham #1
Jethro...........Eagle
Sam..............Lotus (or Ferrari? let me know)
Evil...............Brabham #2 (or if you prefer Cooper or Ferrari, let me know, but I remember you doing well in the Brabham not so long ago, in a couple of races)
Tim, I've bookmarked the Honda for this one, though I see you do great job in Clubmans, so I may reconsider. For the moment I'm putting you in the reserves though, so focus on the Clubmans. Unless we have no people, I'd rather have you continue your jihad there. Consider between Cooper (2 of them) and Ferrari in the meantime, if I don't release the Waza mobile.
Will, if nobody else applies, you would be stepping out of reserves. Consider the same chassis as Tim ^.
2 Coopers and 1 Ferrari spare atm and awaiting offers!
