I'll be there. I haven't been at the wheel for two months, so it's going to be interesting.

Nice to get a win but sorry we lost Hristo from the race so soon, and Evil Clive lost so much time in the same incident. Hristo got a bit sideways at T1 as we started the second lap. Clive span off avoiding him and I kept it as tight as I could up the inside. Watching my replay there seems to be a big warp that launches Hristo as I come alongside him. I was behind them after running off on the grass at Bottom Bend on lap one. I'd got a good start from 2nd on the grid and kept to the right all through T1, the hairpin and then Bottom Bend because I couldn't be sure where Hristo or Paul were. Unfortunately my excursion on to the grass let Paul, Hristo and Evil Clive through.
After the second lap incident I chased and caught Paul and tailed him for 4 or 5 laps before he made an error that let me through. After that I found I was able to pull steadily away for a lonely drive to the flag. The 66's definitely require less concentration in those situations compared to the 67's!!

Results are up.
I was just too slow tonight so I pulled off when the leaders were about to lap me. Hope the lag was OK this time.

I was happy after my lap in qualifying and looked forward to a good race, but a bad start (or just the car's limit) let Ken through and then Paul in T2. Ken went off at T3 so I was up to 2nd again, with Clive or Ken ( haven't seen the replay, so let's assume it was Clive ) just behind in 3rd. I closed up on Paul and was into his slipstream at the start of the 2nd lap, but then he braked a bit late and automatically I also braked a bit late and I suppose Clive did similar. That late braking chain reaction ended up in Paul running slightly wide, myself running wider and losing the rearend a bit and Clive running even wider and into the haybales (from what I saw in my mirrors). Not sure what happened next, but something (Ken's car according to him) flipped me over and although I pushed against the tarmac with my arms I couldn't flip the car onto its wheels. I've got to do more push ups so I'd be strong enough next time. Grats to Ken for what looked like a fun race and sorry to Clive for ending his chances to fight for victory.

Thats 2 races in a row Hristo...I could get paranoid, but I know the whole world is against me, so what's the point ! After the "incident" , as Ken said I was way behind ...last in fact! and I think the hay bales rearranged some suspension parts which made the handling just a tad interesting. I enjoyed a few laps chasing Syd and trying to find a way around his big ( read wide ) Brabham. Eventually got the inside at Surtees and slipped through to set off after the rest of the field. Tim was a long way up the road and after many banzai laps I had him in sight...just in time to put a wheel on the grass at Surtees and lose it all again!!! The damage manifested itself mostly at Dingley Dell where the car just did not want to stay on the grey stuff, preffering the green squidgy border and the hedge. I escaped from a couple of pruning sessions but eventually got tangled up big time and did several barrel rolls to end up on my head...ironically approximately where I ended the last Div 1 race!? Grats to Ken for the win and to the podium, also to the debutant "pro racers".

Great fastest lap there Evil.
I just can't cope with things that have more grip than the 67s. I never really get the best out of them as I think that I still have the 67 programme running in my head. (Come to think of it I can't cope with 67s either.)
Managed to get past Druids this time and was able to make a complete balls-up of Surtees without any problem. This consisted of being too cautious and as a result ending up as a sitting duck for Syd and Tim going down the straight.
Tim made a mess of Clearways so that we started lap 2 side by side. I had the inside and as I crossed the line I hit some invisible bump that must have been about the size of a dead badger. This unsettled the car a bit and my efforts to hold a tight line were not entirely successful. Looking at the my replay, Tim and met at about mid track at Paddock and, whilst I wasn't aware at the time, Tim went off to visit the bales. This probably prevented his killing several people on the exit of Paddock but may also have lost Hristo the chance of being knocked upright as well.
I still thought that I had Tim on the outside as the view in front was taking all my attention. Apart from the mayhem on the far left, there was a car sliding across the track to the right and another making a slow recovery just to left of centre. The car going right reached the grass and I could see a podium beckoning up the hill at Druids. I went for the gap but the car on the grass, Syd I think, came back onto the track and I just clipped it. That sent me into the car that was slowly recovering and ended his chances too. Sorry Evil.
After a 360 spin I staggered off up the hill and Phil took a run at me up the inside at Druids. I stayed left but took a warp-smack at mid corner that left me fighting the thing to get off the grass. Then, hey-presto, I had Tim back with me for company.
Phil took to the grass somewhere and I was left to ease away from Tim whilst trying to close down on someone new in a Ferrari. The rest of my race consisted of pulling away slowly from Tim and closing on the Ferrari only to make a mistake and have to start the process all over again. Towards the end I started to get a bit braver at Surtees and was closing on the battle for 2nd/3rd but ran out of laps.
Grats Ken, Paul and ??

I doubt it's warp, it must be the result of the red mist when he dropped back, its effect can lead to miracles sometimes, especially on a clear piece of road.
