It's on page 1 of this thread Natan, ie;
CHASSIS GROUPS
1 - Lotus, Ferrari
2 - BRM, Honda
3 - BT11
4 - Cooper
5 - BT7

DRIVERS AND GROUPS
2 natan
So your choice from groups 2 to 5, the only caveat is you have to stick with the chassis all season (see FMG's post re moderators agreeing changes)

Indeed, BT11s for both of you I reckon, success dependent.

The difference is how consistant their speeds are - Tom can be blindingly fast in some places and a bit off pace at others.
Goran on the other hand is normally capable of fast laptimes wherever - when he gets more consistant (from a finishing/not making mistakes standpoint) the reason for his new group will make itself obvious I feel (hope!).

FWIW I think Tom will almost certainly be joining him next season anyway if he keeps improving  Wink

I agree, Tim, but I hope if either of them appears too dominant they'll be assigned the appropriate chassis sooner than what happened last season...

A problem? No, why? I'm just saying I hope car assignments work well and if they don't that we'll see a timely reaction by the moderators, and it wasn't about you in particular, but everyone. And why do you think anyone is going to DQ you?

Obviously you have a problem with me, but that's your problem.  Roll Eyes

I don't like driving this Cooper, it just doesn't go fast enough and I'm already handicapped enough as it is without straggling 40 seconds behind halfway through a race being a second a lap slower than the midfield.

Struggled with finding a setup that I could push in practice, eventually settled on Hristo's perfectly balanced Cooper setup which worked well in the race. Start was good, T1 good also, and T2 the fun and games began with a drifting car on the inside which pushed me onto the grass and last. After that only highlights were Bob and Clutch with an interesting battle that left a gap at Moss 2, an exit was quickly closed so they could make good their escape. A draft opportunity a few laps later presented itself but Clutch's positioning meant I had absolutely nowhere to go in the crux of the braking point. Sorry for the nudge.

Later, in what I thought was clear air a car appeared out of nowhere on the racing line on the exit of the third-last corner. Cue me definitely with nowhere to go and a flabbergasted HER wondering just what else could get in her beloveds way.

Sadly all fun was cut short 9 laps from the end when the internet connection died.

Careful driving from my side. Had an awful start since I lifted a bit early into t1 still thinking I could claim my position behind gøran who I was a bit up the side on .I was wrong and had an awkward t1 that made me stick to the side of the track and let 3 cars pass me before the long t2 was over. had some fun racing with tim who was scary quick in the turns but didn t really have power to pass. I made an awkward t2 at some point and let him pass but he went wide. I left the track at (sigh) t2 and tim passed me again but I controlled it back to the track without loosing too much speed. I caught up with the 3-4 cars in front of me again they made mistakes and I was on third  just behind gøran at the finish. Sorry to see my teamy Bartoz spin in(yes t2) on the final lap.
from the results I see that united kingdom did very well here hahaha Cheesy

Had to join qually very late due to PC Problems, but no matter. Having seen the pole time i knew my PB was about a second+ shy, so knew i'd have no chance, especially as i've chosen the slower, but in my view, steady BT11 this season.

To be honest, my race was incredibly dull. I basically plodded round doing 1:26's to 1:28's (depending on when i missed a gear and found neutral on my G25 6-Shifter) and just waited for people to drop out as i had no chance of catching anyone. I'm not a Mosport expert though.

Still, this seasons tracks will be a challenge for me and i guess my ideal 65 league would be mid-way between the Novices and the Amateurs. Fear not though, i'll try and hang in as its good to test yourself against the best, even though i still think the races are a tad long with everything pretty much sorted position wise within 20 laps.

Anyway, still love GPL, and UKGPL.  Wink

I'm not a fan of racing at this track - opportunities to overtake can be scarce & because of that often end in incident... as I found to my misfortune for the second season in a row Sad. It was looking promising at the start though - I got off the line well & was right on Goran's tail for the opening laps. Any thoughts of mounting a challenge ahead swiftly faded as my 4th place came under attack from Fulvio who was relentlessly pursuing me & looking for a way past. It was hard racing but I think fair - Fulvio's BT11 was much faster through the twisty bits but my BRM had the legs on the straights which meant we spent many laps locked together. After 15 laps of this, I suspect Fulvio's patience was wearing thin & he dived up the inside as we crested the hill into T2 - we both left each other room but unfortunately Fulvio touched the infield grass which spun him right out into my path. Wheel gone - DNF :'(.

I'm very happy with how the race unfolded and particularly my own driving as I only made one mistake throughout the whole distance. After taking pole comfortably, I didn't have any illusions about the race being easy because of the slipstream and the usual loss of positions on the start with BT7's lack of drive.

Fortunately I made a decent start (or Nat lost some time) and was able to keep the lead going into and out of T1. I didn't want to engage in any battles with Natan after what he said earlier, so to avoid any risks that are out of my control I had to risk with things that I have control with. In other words - my own driving.

I pushed as hard as possible right from the beginning and was able to open up a slight gap, but not enough as to break the tow back to Nat who was very consistent in those early laps. I was purposely taking a different line on the exit of Moss hairpin so I could make the slipstream of my car less efficient. I don't know if it worked, but after a couple of laps the gap grew to 2 and then to 3 seconds.

Just when it became 4 seconds I had an off at T3 after clipping the grass under braking before the corner. Almost managed to not go off, but didn't want to risk a spin by turning to the inside, so I went off and returned back on the track just as Nat was entering the corner.

He was 1-2 seconds back now, so I had to do my earlier exercise and open up the gap again. It worked well though and I'm glad I did some serious modifications to my setup as it made the car very predictable and consistent, and very balanced as well, although there was some understeer, particularly in T1.

I kept pushing through the whole race because it helps with my concentration, so that made the gap back to 2nd bigger and bigger, and when Nat dropped back it was more than comfortable. This season I'm trying to up my game in races and be as consistent as possible and make as few mistakes as possible, so I kept this pace until the finish and it worked great.

Looking forward to the next race and I expect a very tough competition given how close the top 10 were in Qualifying, and that's without the presence of Evil or the usual pace of Jethro!
