On T7 I have the same grid, we could go up to 10 m. between cars as on other tracks. More cars would start before last hairpin though.
Anyway I thank you Axel for providing your great server, but I insist on the bandwith settings. On tracks like Monaco, where the pack take more time to spread out, too much cars visible add problems to on-line connection troubles. Of course is nice to race seeing all the cars, but GPL wasn't programmed to manage so many cars visible on-line so the prediction code goes on trouble when there are so many data to manage both on server and client side. You can't crash with the cars you can't see, and last night with so many cars stopped in a few meters GPL got crazy.
I hope you get my point, my English isn't very good.
Ciao
A more loose grid maybe would have helped to go through T1 in a more safe way, but with the full pack visible to all there were many cars a bit unstable so close each other and a crash was easy to come.
This is the loose grid I have on the server, do you have a wider version?
