Funny cars & unfamiliar tracks, are a part of the wealth on offer here, Dave. They're a good way to improve overall skills at the track, and I'm surprised our grids aren't littered with Heavies. We've a big handicap advantage, and a chance to to keep pace with the fast crowd. Good drivers are more predictable when wheel to wheel, and it's possible to learn their technique by example.
I made a silly mistake at the 2nd corner in my race, dropped to last, but still battled back to 2nd, as 69x Heavies have a big advantage over Lights. For those not wanting to win, I'd suggest the only requirement, is to leave room for the fast guys, and go after those with your pace. ATM, all Heavies are guaranteed a podium spot.
