As a mark of respect to Joe (Beefpie) we intend to finish the Works championship as it stands which would, of course, mean that Joe would be our Season 22 Champion. It has been suggested that we run the last three races in his memory as a mini series. There are some other ideas about things we could do in Joe's memory but we want to take it slowly.

I fully support the idea of stopping Works now but UKGPL belongs to its drivers so if you do not want the championship curtailed in this way please PM me as a matter of urgency. If I do not hear from you within the week I will assume that you assent to the proposal.

I will stand down effective immediately from S22 Works Trophy out of respect for Joe.

I've just accessed the SS67W page and taken both a screenshot and an .mht copy of the page.  I'm thinking that I'll create a desktop icon leading to the screenie and once in a while, even as the years pass, notice it there on my desktop and fire it up.

Our Canadian province of Quebec has a brief slogan on their vehicle licence plates.  It reads, 'Je me souviens'.  In English, 'I remember'.

Thanks Doni.

The plan is still to run a race at Interlagos on Sunday so please join us for that. I am pretty sure that Joe wouldn't want everyone to miss the race as he loved racing the 67 cars as much as we all do.

The membership has agreed that the Works Trophy should conclude as is. Thank you all for your input.

Joe Shaw is therefore our Season 22 Works Champion. R.I.P. Beefpie.
