Again I'm up for this, but can't say yet with 100% certainty that I can make it.

BTW, wouldn't Brazilian GPLers experience lag/warp due to the location distance?

I recently ran a couple of races with ausgpl, and was surprised to find, it all worked Ok!  Perhaps the ability to race, has more to do with, the quality of the Server, than with the distance to the Client? cowboy

It is all to do with the quality of connection to the ISP and inter-ISP connectivity. TCP/IP has no cost of service and is not a guaranteed delivery service. Therefore if the traffic levels are high, delays increase and that causes warp. The UK has 60 million people, of whom, a large number have broadband. Australia has less people and necessarily less traffic.

What time did you race? Very early is low traffic in Europe and the USA, Very late, the USA kicks in. Day makes a difference too.

The wireless connection can be a problem but generally latencies are low enough for it not to be an issue. All depends really...

I can give you a lecture on Ethernet connectivity and how DECNet works as well  Grin

We could do F2's at both if the majority would like to do that - let me know...

Well that is a pretty strong argument for doing F2's Wink

Are you saying you want to keep the 65's? Anyway, why the hell are you practising at Christmas for a Fun Race... get a grip man... and have a (mince) pie.  Grin

F2 handle similar to the 65s, although their tires seem to have a bigger slip angle ratio so you get more pronounced understeer and oversteer, depending on the setup. In particular I noticed how easy it is to lose the rear under braking, even more so than in 67s. I also noticed you can put them quite sideways on corner entry and the car wouldn't spin out, and that's something I'm not so sure is very realistic, but overall it's a nice feeling.

Anyway, my point was that if you have practiced in 65s, you can use similar setup in F2 and similar way of driving, so it's not a wasted practice.

A reason these F2's handle differently, is because of their lighter weight, and better grip.  I don't know the actual slip angle, built into the new physics model, but it should be less than the 65's.  It's because of their weights, lower moment of inertia, and greater grip level, that they can be rescued from situations, unexpectedly.  Two obscure English expressions come to mind, from this : 'Variety is the spice of life' and, 'What's good for the Goose, is sauce for a gander'. laugh

You have to find a new brake bias!
The brakes are way more agressive and more effective, if you learn to use them.
I can brake 30m later into Parabolica than with 65s!

Yeah, f2 brakes seem similiar to GT's... lately I dont even dare to press them fully, it seems recipe for dissaster. Brake bias doesnt seem to do much... seems theres some fine balance btw toe in, springrates, front rollbar and even bump rubber... I cant find the balance tho.

Would be happy to turn up if there are enough spaces.
Can someone confirm if Interlagos will be 65 or F2?
