This sounds good! I will come, as long as smoking is allowed on the track.

Jason - 67 versions of both. I think we used both in last seasons Spec series - there will be links in the race threads.

OK, been on the server with Laguna 67 and think its another apalling choice of track for a FUN race! There is only one line, zero room for error and lots of polo mints to catch the unwary. There will be tears tomorrow and tbh, I want no part of it.

Sorry Jason, this was my decision! I am not with you, a Fun-Race must not mean an easy track! I had in mind to do a more demanding track with these fantastic cars, as the easy F2 tracks in IGOR in the last 2 weeks became boring. You are right, without practice and an adequate setup it's hard work to avoid those polo mints! But if you have found the groove, it's pure fun and you will be able to drive in a save mode... IMO these tracks have all that's needed for a Fun-Race So take it as a challenge to show your skills and survive PS I just read your comment re the TC Fun-Race, where you propose Bathurst as a fun track Yes it is! I love it as it is one of my favourites... But Laguna Seca is shorter and imo in the same category!

As I said online last night Axel, my main concern is those Polos lining the Turn 1 chicane. It only takes one mistake from a driver and you wipe out the whole of the rear of the grid - there is no where to go to avoid an accident. The actual layout is great fun to drive but I don't think thats enough to earn forgiveness for the turn one polo craziness.

Lives are not at risk here! Part of the fun of racing, is the challenge, and the uncertainty. We only risk damaging our pride.

TBH Jason, Part of the fun of the F2s is the high risk of incidents. Because they are so closely matched you often find yourself three abreast... I have seen lots of wipeouts at Enna and that has LOADS of room.
It should still be fun even though I am not keen on these tracks either...

Perhaps I'm just a moaning old fuddy duddy then, but I like to do the challenging tracks in the league races, but to just turn up and have a laugh when its fun races....

Hristo and I had a cracking battle here a few seasons back, passing is possible as long as people give each other room Might make the first race but doubt the second I've taken a fancy to the V8 BMW/Lola, as it seems slower than many of the Ford powered cars I guess it would be a fair choice for me

Hi Tim This BMW engine is a straight four! It uses double carburaters so it has this V8 look It revs higher and has more HP but the "torque power band" is smaller In your hands this is a winning car!

Really? Then why is it modelled with an exhaust exiting each side and a V shaped block? Or is this another of the models that needs tidying? *Edit* I see from some Googling you're correct - I wonder why they chose to have twin exhausts ? Block still looks V shaped in GPL though

It had one of the first 4 valve cylinders heads from BMW, so one exhaust pipe to each out channel
