Moderator's Report

In a similar vein to the opening round at Silverstone, Hristo Itchov romped to victory whilst an entertaining battle went on behind for the other podium places.

Al Heller held second for a long time but a charging Doni Yourth passed him near the end, leaving Al to fend off newcomer Robert John - just - for third place.

Server replay time: 0h01m45s

Bob is warping all over the place and reappears in Bartosz's cockpit, damaging Bartosz's car and forcing him to retire.

Server replay time: 0h01m51s

John spins and Ross tries to take avoiding action, but light contact bounces him into the barrier and he loses a wheel, forcing him to retire.

I had a screen freeze during qualy and had to ctrl-alt-del to end task to get going again.
Then it did it again just as qualy ended with no time to get back in.

I was expecting at least a podium with everyone else falling off Grin but it was me who jumped first.

That's a shame Andy...

Team Barf managed to enter both cars running from the same room. Very cool, although I didn't know Baab swore so much when driving :-)

I was absolutely amazed to be sitting on pole with a few minutes to go, so I guess I should be grateful to H and Al for giving me a reality check and putting me down to 3rd. Sadly my connection started playing up just at the end of qually/start of the race and I got screwed at the first corner. Happily I don't think anyone else got taken out. Starting from 3rd I wasn't really trying to pass anyone, just stay in formation and not get hit. Then Baab started shouting about a dodgy connection (I'm 1.5m away dude, no need to shout!!) and next thing my screen flickered and I was on a one way trip to the haybales.

Ive started from 4'th place, with quite strong chances for podium. But I was taken out by Bobs warp.

This time it was Bob Whitwell's turn to have mobile table problems... he rearended me for a change, instead of braking on a flatout corner like clouds... well, whatever, I cant report it anyway. Works aren't any better than privateers...I might as well go back there.

Why can't you report it Sky? If you don't use the reporting system it makes it hard for the moderator to do his job properly.

My race was brief! My team-mate John span in front of me, and I chose the wrong side to go around him, losing a wheel. At least John was able to continue but very disappointing to get so little racing in.

Well, thought I wasnt going to take part to this one, but 10 mins from the end of qually I suddenly realised that I dont really give a toss about football after all   Roll Eyes. So, little practice and it showed, 1 wheel off after 10 laps, this track is so good that they modelled side road drains.. Lips Sealed Next week  I am off to Italy boat See you in September or in some fun race next month  Kiss

Well, I'm not reporting anything anymore, cause Badblood said he's sick of me getting in reports... And il probably get the penalty points anyway, cause they go wherever they want at random... and report wont make my race any better than it is (...not)...less work for mods anyway... they'll have enough at that track, and I hope the one who chose the track is forced to mod it now...justice you know.

It's a new season Sky, and a chance for a fresh start. If the incident with Bob is as you describe, then you won't incur any penalty.

I hold my hands up sky, I was totally out of control and unfortunately you were in my path, can't say anything but sorry.

I had countless spins in this race, so sorry in general to anyone else who I 'involved' in these.  Was running 6th with 5 to go then after yet another spin I over revved when attempting a spin turn and blew it...  Not a good day at the office.

I had quite a bit of warp at various times and on L1 after what I thought was a clean start, all cars disappeared then reappeared sometime later and Pods car was sideways across mine at the Jackie Stewart bridge...  Arf and I tested the connection earlier and it seemed fine (we are both using the same connection tonight), so we thought it was okay to race.

Bob.

Put your hands back down, you'll be more in control if they are on the wheel...

THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID and you know it. I said try and keep your nose clean. Report it.

Ross, I have always problems downloading the Works's replays. Actually, the download works fine, but when I go to open it, it says it cant as it is not a .rar file? Any ideas of what it could be, usually no probs when I open the replays from other champs, it must be related to the specific server used for this one I suppose, and the way its replays are saved..
