I note from some of the pros that they hate Monza? What planet are they from, oh yeah there aliens!
It can produce interesting races, but also very boring ones. If you had raced in the Pros yesterday you would know why. Also if you have raced Monza for more than 10 years regularly, you'd be thinking differently. Honestly some of us are sick of Papy tracks, lol. I have raced gpl Monza for many years. Its not one of my best tracks but I like it a lot. The intermediate race yesterday was not interesting at all......it was a classic! Having said that I would love more new tricky tracks, particularly for the 65's, but I guess I will have to wait for season 24 to see what we get. Grats on the Pro championship Hristo.

I love Monza races , they can produce some very close battles and also can't be beaten as a training ground for close racing . Maybe we should have a Monza Championship for those of those of us who like this track

Fully agree, Bernie!! We could race such a champ in 7 different races, with 65, 66 2l, 66 3l, 67, 69x, GT and Can-Am

Monza is not my favourate track and I certainly have never done well there but it deserves a place in our series as it always ives great battles but unfortunately also great crashes!

Thanks guys.
Congrats Ronnie for the championship. And sorry for my mistake at 2 laps of the finish in Monza. We had a great fight together and with Jonny during quite all the race and the last lap could have been fantastic but ... !

Well done to Ronnie for the Championship Win and to all who took part.
I too love Monza, its always a season highlight as you always stand a good chance of having close races and as the layout is fairly simple, you get decent turnouts, so there's often plenty going on.
The race for me was chaotic at times but never dull. I chose the Honda to make Mountside a single make team for this final race and it certainly proved lively.
Pass of the season has to be Bernie passing me on lap 1 at Monaco at Mirabeau. Don;t know where he came from but it was controlled and slotted him into the small door i had left open (though i was sure it was closed which made it amazing). Its the only time playing GPL where i have been overtaken and thought - Wow - how did he do that!
Enjoyed the season so thanks to all who took part and all at UKGPL who make it possible.
Cheers Clutch

Thanks Dave and Clutch. Dave, how sad is this. I watched back the entire race in real time I was engrossed right until the chequered flag not knowing who was going to finish where on the podium. Same again please! The Inters is a top championship, the best on offer at UKGPL dare I say? Personally I think the single shift-r and no sign of that 50% completed laps to score rule, make it the place to be for drivers of all persuasions, from would be heroes to fun seekers. I think it provides fair reward to those who practice and race and those who just want to race. Hopefully it stays that way for next season. Thanks to the organisers.

Not half as impressive as the move I made monday AM , following 8 pints and a vindaloo and you did get your own back on lap 3 LOL Seem to remember it was the only pass I made in that race not wanting to labour a point but some might note my track craft going up the hill towards Casino on Lap 12

Gareth I have just watched a replay to enjoy the racing again, but what I did not enjoy was my unfortunate steering input assisting your off and you losing a wheel. Not deliberate I can assure you but certainly not pretty now I have seen it, apologies. Not sure how it would affect results but I don't have a problem if you wish to report it. I look forward to racing with you again regardless.
Would not have made much difference as i had two spins at para and got rear ended during the course of the race :'(. As for that one, I had plenty of room and time but let the car run wide, there was no contact and I over reacted in trying to move right too quickly to aviod you and lost the ass of it for a second. no one to blame but me for that one, certainly not your fault.
