Hi ed76 I'm a bit confused with the race times. UK time is now 20:15, looked on IGOR to prepare for the race but it had already started (praccy over). In the first post it states race starts 22:00 Paris time (i.e.21:00 UK time). What time does the race start? Are you running a practice first but have the server labelled as the real race? Regards Phil

Maybe I should have known that the Protos is NOT going to handle like my favourite Lola BMW..lol. I had not done any practice for this race as I had not anticipated being able to be here, but things worked out well and I put on my wetsuit and jumped into the Protos. From Lap 1 onwards the handling always surprised me and I made too many mistakes to deserve 4th place, I should have been last....but at least all of the grass areas are well cut All qualifying I spent trying to make the beast turn into the corners when I turned the wheel and not 50 mtrs later!! If I am going to get anywhere near the Baressi brothers I had better do some practice with this wooden wonder lol. Well done Phil and Paul, at least you got your cars to the finish as well. Poor Tristan stopping one lap early...................oops!! don't smirk it's not nice

That was an eventful race. Got a good start and slotted into 4th behind my team mate but then I followed him onto the grass at T3 and we went from 3rd and 4th down to the back of the grid. We will have to stop formation crashing Clive!!! To top it all the next lap my engine exploded (never had that in an F2 before) so had to do ShiftR and S&G (couldn't remember the rules - knew I only had 1 ShiftR but didn't know if I needed a S&G so took one anyway). Then I had an entertaining fight back up the field. With 5 laps to go T Bot was on my tail, he got past at the end of the straight so I tried to stay in touch and look for an opportunity to get past. I had prib on and I could see Mark was closing in to lap us with 2 laps to go. As we started the last lap, Mark was right on our tails and the chequered flag came out for him as me and T Bot crossed the line. T Bot pulled over thinking the race was over but I carried on and completed the final circuit. Unlucky T Bot. For once Prib was worth the hassle LOL
Grats to the Barresi boys on a 1-2 and to Clive for a good recovery. Unlucky Matra team!

.. MOSPORT RAINMagic woes are not very serious For Team Matra since Jura finishes 3rd The unlucky team is Mc laren, O.Zaiit was well ahead Jura when it was disconnected for pilots who have had one lap down , I added + 1 times the average time (this gives a somewhat odd result for Magic but it does not matter since it is not in the top 6 Masters) WR for Mark Barresi !! Replays , exports and more detailed results here , tomorrow : http://gpltom.libertux.org/(you must be registered on the site to see the championship Forum)

Second race in the Protos. Not sure if it is my setup but I'm finding it hard to push in this car. I need to drive steady to keep it on the track but if I push I tend to lock up and run wide. Grats to the Barressi bros for another 1-2. My team mate Clive seems to be crashing a lot too, Team Protos didn't score well tonight
