Not plucked up enough courage to try that yet ! Problem now is Windows sent message today to say my windows licence has expired , and must activate product key ! I have a genuine copy of win7 Home Premium but when I type the key in it bounces back saying it cant activate with my key . Asks me to buy another licence ! Yea thats going to happen  I have a black screen desktop and message in bottom rhs says "this copy of windows is not genuine " This has happened once before since I changed my HDD and loaded win7 on , I typed the key in and was OK but not this time . Will probably have to contact them about this but it doesnt look easy . |

Not a big deal! That is normal, as I told you before, you can't use the same W7 licence on 2 PCs! You have to register it again! Just call the free phone number, have a pencil and paper and lots of patience  |

Seems like its the 60 fps patches , I deleted them and all of the mods work fine .
perhaps I had the wrong patches installed , do you know which the correct ones are ?

As long you do not play any offline championships...
C:\GPLSecrets\GEM+\Options
should have
60FPSv1.xml for 69X and Sport Cars
60fpsv2newmod.xml for 65, 66, 67 and CanAm71
ffb2.xml for the FFB
Make shure that only one 60fps patch is checked in GEM for a mod!
If you just drive the 65, 66 and 67s you will only need 60fpsv2newmod.xml

No good Axel No idea what I'm doing wrong.
Cant get 66mod to run with 60fpsv2newmod , 65 67 mod are OK its just the 66mod . (works fine with 30fps )
and I don't have can am installed

I successfully installed as follows:
Mod: existing 1966 mod installed
Steps:
1) Delete directory "gpl66" from within the sierra/gpl/mods/gem+ directory (or wherever you installed GPL)
2) Run 66 patch v2.0 - if in doubt, study the readme file as it's very useful
3) Delete gplc66.exe from your sierra/gpl directory
4) Run GEM+, select your 66 player or carset, enter GPL
5) Confirm you can still get into the various tracks fullscreen
6) Exit GPL, enable 60fpsv2newmod, go back into GPL, re-test
The above confirmed that 60fpsv2newmod worked successfully on my usual GPL install.

Fantastic , I did that Turkey machine stuff , go to try GPL now the bloody G25 wheel isn't being recognised ! So I check the logi profiler. cant get that to fix things so I delete it put the Logi CD in to do re install and now the bloody CD drive has gone tits up  WTF did I do to deserve this must have walked under a fire engine or something  |

OK panic over , remebered the Lgt510 file thing and ran that , fixed the wheel , now need to get the 60 fps patches installed again

was going to install the GT and Ca Am mods but think I will leave well alone for a while Got to say thar GPL runs better than ever , brilliant graphic detail , everything turned full on and the colour is so much better than with my old PC thinking no need to upgrade the GPU now but will see how she goes , did have some stutter during road test on the tight turns of claremont ferrand although the 60 fps was solid enough with the Ai and all cars running will see how we go on line !
