You also need to select the right 60fps patch in GEM before starting IGOR

no you need to set up the chat in IGOR

Go to Options:
in the IRC tab create your nickname (first and second choices) and username

in IRC channels  create #ukgpl   with key Savage   and tick autojoin on startup

Noticed you tried to connect and dropped off the server again.  You need to have the 60fpsV2newmod patch selected in GEM before starting IGOR
