Watching my fastest race lap Vs Greg's I'm actually surprised I had it so easy - He was actually running faster than me for over half the lap and only fell short due to what appear to have been a pair of very slight mistakes!
Well done to Greg and TvO on filling the podium and also to everyone who finished, as usual the back markers where very helpful and aware Smiley

Kinda glad I had a lead from so early as I'd forgotten how bad the mirrors in that variant of the M7 were. Could barely see anything behind me other than the wing!

Congrats Tim and Tom! Excellent pace Tim! I was also very impressed with Tristan's pace in the MS84. He'd have left me far behind had I driven the same car.

I'm actually surprised I had it so easy

lol Wow! You must be trying to crush my morale. Easy is one of the last words that comes to my mind with this track and mod combination.

I was pleased that I kept from making any mistakes that cost me much time. I was also pleased to at least have stayed close enough that any problem on your part might give me the win. It would take a lot of practice, lot probably being an understatement, in the 49B to have had any chance for me to stay close. If you thought that was easy, you're more impressive than I thought. It wasn't easy for me. Smiley

The BT26 may have kept me close. It was faster than the 49B for me. We're probably lucky Tom was rusty in his BT26, or at least I was lucky.

Thanks guys. And thanks Axel for deleting my bad record. Tim's lap is now the record on my computer.

Now ain't that a crying shame
Now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same

Clermont itself is never easy - that said it's been my go-to track since release back in 2004 whenever I want/need a blast or want to try out a new car so I know it pretty well.

The making it easy part is simply the fact no-one was breathing down my neck the entire way, that changes things entirely here!
