Handicapping
There will be no handicapping.  The tokens system will be used which is actually a chassis levelling system, not a form of handicapping.

There is no red zone for this championship. Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents do carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

If you would like to enter this series please submit an entry in the poll.

Any reason you're not using the shiny new 67x for this?
Given it looks likely I'll be racing the 67's in Assetto Corsa at some point this year I'm not too interested in the normal mod, but could be tempted by the novelty of the 67x..

We haven't discussed this in the mods or drivers forums. The 67x is effectively a new mod (different physics as well as graphics) so we would have to ask Giz to create another car set in SRou. Trying to import 67x results as 67 results (if SRou allowed it) would cause all sorts of problems with the UKGPL lap and race record times. So given the timescales (Season 34 starts on 13/01/2018) it isn't feasible to try to run the 67x in place of the original 67s for season 34.

Having said that we could run some fun races in the 67x cars during Season 34. If they prove to be popular we could discuss running 67x cars in Season 35.

67x is not an official mod, it was mainly thought as a historic correct offline game.

The online 67x version has been driven by the Funliga so I learned pretty well its pros and cons...

There are some pros like a normal slipstream and more car variety, but some of the physics seem not final tested and refined  Roll Eyes
