Yes Fulvio,
the SC67 mod is very heavy for the PC system - you can compare it with 69Xtra!

So every weak setting in your CPU or GPU will make fps drops or other distortions.

Make your CPU work in full throttle
and
make a profile for the gplxsc.exe in your NVidia or Radeon settings - to not allow it falling asleep.

Sorry to have missed the test.  Was elsewhere and got the headsup on it only this AM.  I am planning to make the Friday debut of the series.

Sorry I missed the test too but given the concerns about the track I decided to carry out a quick test of my own.

I setup my server for a short race (4 laps) with 6 AI cars (to give the graphics card something to do Wink )

On my first lap in qually I got a screen freeze on the Lavant Straight.  Task manager couldn't stop GPL and eventually even task manager became unresponsive so I had to reboot my computer to recover.

Rejoined the sever and completed qually with no more problems. I got a solid 60FPS everywhere with all graphics turned up to maximum.

At start of race (4 laps) the frame rate was a solid 59/60FPS with 6 AI cars on the grid. Everything was going fine until the last lap when I got a screen freeze at Woodcote Corner. GPL crashed to desktop this time so didn't need to reboot.

The server was unaffected by all the freezes.

So it does look like there is a problem with running the SCx mod at this track. Pity, it is a brilliant track and we didn't have problems with the 65s so perhaps we need to do some testing with the other mods if we plan to use it again.

Phil,
I had the 'crash to desk top' at Woodcote corner a couple of times during practice & agree it is appears to be a track programming issue.

Cookie,
Your choice. If you want to swap track we really need to do this tomorrow so drivers have a chance to prepare. A simple Papyrus track?

A real shame!
But it seems we have no choice...

We switch to the Norisring

I had 2 freezes in practices too...
