Hi Phil. If you have way of checking my PBs please do.
I'm thinking of trying the BT11 for the Silverstone races. Best in practice so far is 1:37.3
Thanks

All I can do is look through your racing history and pick out the 65F1 races and look for a representative time. A 1:37.3 would put you about 3 seconds a lap slower than Bernie. I think that is probably a bit too much. At Kyalami in Season 24 you were 0.8 seconds per lap slower than Bernie. In Season 38 at Oulton you were 1.2 seconds slower than Bernie. Different tracks but not a huge difference in lap times so I suggest a 1:36.0 would be a fair target time for you. Have a go and see if you can get near that in practice.

Black screen of death again, ended up stuck behind a wall and it wouldn't Shift-R. Pity I was enjoying that

That was almost the perfect race for me - Q3 (did Q2 make the race?). Clive and I got off to a flier and gapped everyone immediately. I was wondering if I could catch him when his car flicked off the edge of the last corner and I was on my own. Unsurprised to see Tris closing fast, but after getting a couple of fast laps behind Clive I was pleased to see I went even faster in clean air. Not enough to keep Tris at bay and he got past easily after a lap or two then disappeared... I have to be happy though, no spins, very consistent, so I should do well in the handicapped positions.
Reverse races were fun too, nice way to remember Joe.
Thanks to Clive and Phil (??) for organising.

I really enjoyed that. it was cool to be with a bunch for most of the race. improved my PB by a couple of seconds too.. now it doesnt look too embarrasing against all the others.
for a fair bit of the race I was having a blast with Phil. Dave,Pete and Bernie. great stuff. Thanks Lads for such considerate driving.
one thing... please Tris can you slow down a bit LOL.. and stop pipping me at the post about one second from the end of my penultimate lap.. Im nearly doing OK and then im relegated to Minus 1 Lap . Doh !!

I read this all wrong. Missed race 1 as I hadn't clocked the start time. Turned up for Race 2 expecting it to be Revlis in the MRB. Panicked as I realised it was Silver in the BRM. I didn't have my own 65 set up so grabbed Cookie's from the list. Changed brake balance and steering ratio and went for it.
Avoided the carnage on lap 1 and a few bonfires on subsequent laps only to miss a few gears and fall off the track with four to go. Fun battles along the way and how Phil and I got round Woodcote side by side like that I'll never know. Great driving, Phil.
Tris, how so fast? It's just not possible.
