Thanks for letting me join the party for round 3. I was having a lot of fun from P5 on the grid chasing down Phillipe. By lap 10 my Honda's rear right tyre was over-heating so I had to ease off for a couple of laps to let things cool down. I could see Phillipe in the distance but I not able to close the gap. I made a silly mistake after a few more laps and half-span at the bottom of the long steep hill rejoining the "real" track. I thought that Billy would catch up but I was able to keep position. A lonely drive to the end and bad luck to Maddog on the penultimate lap. You suddenly disappeared from Pribluda handing me the final podium slot.

I was very happy to get the 67 Honda around all 28 laps. It's been a while since I've driven them and I usually fall off the road several times. Driving the wingless 69X Lotus 49 in the other championship has helped me re-learn how to handle these beasts.

Thanks guys. It was a lot of fun. See you next time.

There were a number of discos in this race. It would be helpful for the Mod team if drivers can report discos & whether they had istalled the 'No Freeze' patch.
I really enjoyed this track it has a great flow.
Most of it in my own company after David Rainer disappeared in the early laps. Dave Curtis appeared on my gear box late in the race after running wide on the very first lap. He was marginally faster although I suspect I could have held onto 4th place if I hadn't put a wheel on the grass exiting the last turn. Probably my only mistake of the evening.

Interestingly, not a great deal of difference in lap times between the top of the Privateers & the lower half of the Works grids.

No disco for me.
I just made a big mistake trying to overtake Billy. I went out of the track and lost a wheel.
I am very disappointed and should have been more patient.

Grats to the podium and especially for Philippe, the only survivor of l'équipe BGB.

First race on a Fantasy track at Ukgpl for many years.  My lucky win was not pure fantasy, but it did require some help along the way. angel

Sat third, and ran second at the start, pushing hard to stay with Eric.  My car, then covered in fantasy oil, as his motor expired at the end of lap 1.  The disco taking South America by storm, had already grabbed unfortunate da Silva , so I settled into an easy run to the finish.

A strange echo caught my ear, with mirrors suggesting I was not alone.  I'd attracted a hunting Dulima.  Attempt's to suffocate with blue tiresmoke failed, so I skillfully flailed, while he watched from nearby for over half the race. Angry Cheesy

I found a good picnic spot, but decided not to stop, when the twin Braby. rudely continued without me!  Sat back for a tranquil ride to the podium, when a hungry Frenchman came pounding from behind.  My simmering rubber soon gave way to his full coarse expertise .  It became apparent his hurry to, 'Fly the Coop.' was to find that perfect picnic spot I'd chased after.  But, needing only 2 laps to grab some fantasy Champagne, I hurried onward.

Some years since the last victory here at Ukgpl.  A well earned win grabbed from Dulima, by the dreaded disco fever, with only 3 laps to run!  Some great racing in close company from both he, and Philippe.  It's fun to live the fantasy! clap

It was a very good race, I like this track, even though it's a fantasy

I really wanted my great friend and track rival Ricardo Silva to be there

But many power outages reaped our runs

Sad that Eric's engine burst on the first lap, he would be a hard driver to beat

Hunt and I had a good match.

Congratulations Hunt on winning

Girard and Pepe by the podium

let's go to the next
