Happy I got best of the rest in qualifying , but in the race the M9A was a bit of a sitting duck. It was thanks to the car's good top speed I didn't drop as badly as I could have.

Sorry to Leo and Dave for the collisions.

All the races have been summed and Yannick emerges as our Champion.  Well done.  Andreas nails down P2 in the standings with some outstanding performances.  Bravo, AG.  And Cookie earns the final honours with taking P3 in the final placings.  Good job, Axel.

I'm very satisfied with my P8 in the title run considering that I used no aero-assisted rides.  The Eagle/Climax was a stone, of course, and I could barely make the 110% cutoff time for qualifying at most races.  I ran the car as a tribute to Al Pease whom I saw race at Mosport a jillion times in production sports cars and was a force to be reckoned with.  The Brabham BT24 was handcuffed on most circuits with a premium on corner speed but I figured it would come into its own at Spa and Wegberg.  It's quite a bullet in a straight line and this proved the case at both those venues.  Could have even challenged for the win at Wegberg if I hadn't got caught up in the much-feared mega shunt.

A fun season all things considered.

My thanks to the club for hosting and organizing.
