That was great fun tonight.  simple looking circuit thats hard to master.   ive long way to go yet.

Pete, the tacho patch i think is standalone. not sure though.  I have tried it because things like the Lotus 25 had a chronometric tach.. to me it only seems to suit the 55 cars if at all.

its very nicley done, but because it sort of jumps up at 500 rpm at a time ( i think) then its not in time for gearchanges . if that makes sense.  i reckon more blown engines if its used.

I do like them though,  My old BSA Rocket GoldStar (replica) has one. has a chrono speedo on it too.

and My Royal Enfield Constellation has one too.  on the old bikes they are the nuts !!

Grats to Axel on a comprehensive victory!  The Texas Road Runner was flying high.  Well done to Evil Clive for making it a Chaparral 1-2.  Tris an admirable drive in the GT40 for P3.

A pretty reasonably ride for me but enormously lucky to score a P7.  No dramas along the way til the closing stages.  I felt so very sorry for Paul at having a late-race shunt that cost him P6.  As I came off the banking onto the pit straight and saw his Chaparral in pieces, I could only groan.  He was going really well.  His departure set up a last-lap drama I had with Clay as he slid sideways coming off the back straight in Les Deux Ponts.  I grazed his nose in slipping by on the inside and only just had enough to stay ahead to the flag.  Lucky boy.

TY for hosting.

No, I don't mean the Tachometer Patch, that looks like a "Standalone" Patch with version-nr. v 0.4. The Speedometer patch comes with that Brakelight Patch and has the version-nr. v.07.

Any idea how you get this to work?

An interesting race, not because of the fight, but because I had to go flat out the whole race because Doni was close the whole race. Too close, because the only mistake I made, in the last lap of the race, he took advantage of it very well, bravo Doni!
I also discovered that the GT40 IIB doesn't do well with the patchFFb3, too bad I did it after the race! It gives a very strange behaviour to the G25. One thing I can't fix in this mode are the mirrors, they are inverted!!!! Things are seen with the legs (in this case the wheels) up.
Thanks for organising this.

Hola, Clay.  No doubt about it.  You were terribly unlucky to lose traction there and I came up trumps.

I neglected to mention above in my brief race report that I went to the grid with 22USG loaded and crossed the SFline to take the checker with 7.8USG still to burn.
