Season 40 - SC67 Cup – Round 2 - Montlhéry

The 2nd round of the Season 40 takes us to Montlhéry near Paris, France.
Autodrome de Montlhéry (established 4 October 1924) is a motor racing circuit, officially called L’autodrome de Linas-Montlhéry, located south-west of the small town of Montlhéry about thirty kilometres (19 miles) south of Paris. It was initially called Autodrome Parisien, and had especially high banking. A road circuit was added in 1925.
The first race there, the 1925 French Grand Prix, was held on 26 July 1925 and organised by The Automobile Club de France Grand Prix. It was a race in which Robert Benoist in a Delage won; Antonio Ascari died in an Alfa Romeo P2. The Grand Prix revisited the track in 1927 and each year between 1931 and 1937.

In order to add an element of realism, and to hopefully reduce the possibility of rear-end incidents, the brake light patch will be used

Handicapping

"Works" drivers will carry extra weight in form of  6 gallons (~27 Liter) of race fuel (to remain in the tank after the race). No limit in quali!
Drivers are expected to behave in a fair and gentlemanly fashion and declare how much fuel they have left after the race.

1 x Reset will be allowed there is no need to carry out a Stop and Go in the pit lane if you make a Shift-R.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.
Only reported incidents will be moderated.

Please restrict chat to emergency messages only including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

This is a tricky track. The 'jump' took me by surprise on Lap 1 and I reckon I almost went into orbit. Awesome!

You mean the GPL Tachometer Patch
Simulates a chronometric or electronic impulse type tachometer.

 It moves in steps as these old did - not smooth linear

Fun racing tonight. For once, I enjoyed driving a Ford     I was going to drive the Lola but I couldn't see the entrance to the chicane in that car. (I use FOV 67 degrees)

On lap 11 I threw it away at the chicane and then I just wallowed to the end with 27 gallons of fuel and cold tyres. Happy with the points though. Thanks for organising.

I now need to look at the extra patches in the "Brakelight" folder. I can't get the Tachometer to do as Cookie suggests. Also, I see xml files for Speed and Tyre wear. How do I get to use those?
