Couldn't quite concentrate tonight & then knackered engine. Didn't seem much point touring round half speed.

Apologies for the push at the end of an early lap Martin,  but <spoiler alert!>  congratulations!

Also, congrats to Albert for completing the last 1/2 lap with 3 wheels!

Was hopeful of 50% distance,  but too much damage saw to that.  Overall,  pleased with qually session.

Congrats to Greg. This is anybody's championship - we're at the mid-season break and we've had 6 different winners in the first 6 races.

Grats to Greg, Pete and JonnyO. Very impressive times gents.

My race was less than exemplary. I completely missed my braking point at turn one when having a battle with Andreas and I badly damaged my car. Luckily I didn't take Andreas out. Grats on your 4th place Andreas  thumbup1.

Congratulations to you Greg, Pete and Jonny, especially to Greg for taking the championship lead.
We had a nice competition for the pole.
Start was ok and after Greg's excursion I had a easy race until my engine blew up in lap 12.
Cu next race

I had a secret weapon for this event.  Added traction for the steep uphill section, but troublesome under braking.  Decided not to wear my hiking boots.

Practise became a dual with a David, in his twin Ferrari fettle.  We battled for the pole where David sat, but which fell in my favour, late on.

Mirror problems plagued the early laps, until my fellow Ferrari took a half spin.  Thereafter, there came a hounding from an ever closer David ( v2 ).  I thought one was surely enough! Shocked  Clung on for the victory.

I was only 5 seconds behind Martin when I had to lap Paul at 5 laps to the finish.
Unfortunately, we couldn't understand each other, Paul and me and I went off the track losing 10 seconds or more
Maybe, I could have given some pressure to Martin and hope a mistake but no regret he was too quick for me and deserve the win.

I love this track and even though the setup was wrong, my car was too far behind and I made a mistake 3 times in the race due to this problem. Anyway, Uli and Greg's speed was irresistible!!! When Greg, after making a mistake and falling a lot, recovered impressively, the only dignified thing I could do was get out of the way as quickly as possible!!!!
During the race my real opponents were Bennet and Axel. But with my mistakes I would be behind those 4 horsemen, without a doubt. But on the last lap I crossed in 3rd, and frankly I was confused as to how that was possible.
I am very sorry for the early departure of Andradas (Brazil) and JUngle Farina. Especially Doni who has had a brave and efficient season even with the wingless kangaroo, the Brabham BT24.
  Congrats Greg!!!!!!

Thanks Phil! Was a good dicing until that point.  Very enjoyable  punk
Fourth place at the end for me is excellent. Best of the rest.  rockon
Congratulations also for our strong podium!  thumbup1

Once again a flawless race with probably the best mod on one of the best tracks.

Gimme more!  thumbup2

Congrats Pete and Jonny!

With a 1:54.75, I thought I might keep pole position, but Uli was too fast. I thought the McLaren might not be able do to that but Uli wasn´t going to be denied. I am very happy with my time. This was the first time I´ve done 1:54 s.

I struggled some to make sure I didn´t hit Uli. Having to lift more than usual made my car slide more. That led to me going off and losing Uli. I thought he had the win at that point but his engine didn´t last long after I recovered 2nd place. It would have been interesting to see if I could have got back in Uli´s slipstream.

I was excited about some mountain driving after spending 5 days walking and driving around the Sierra Blanca, Sacramento, and Jicarilla Mountains. Check out this mountain panorama : Windy Point (about 10,000 ft / 3048 m) at sunrise. I wish my old Nissan Primera was as fun to drive as the Lotus. Smiley

Thanks for the fun gentlemen!
