[size=3HELP!0pt][/size]GPL wont run . Loads up normally as far as the race screen , all seems OK so far , I can go to set ups , calibrate wheel etc. Clicking the green button to join the track I get kicked off back to Igor / GPL screen with a message saying GPL is not working . Have tried different tracks , different mods, all give the same error message . My PC works fine on everything else and can watch films on i Player Utube etc.

As you say it is with all mods + tracks - it must be an NVidia driver problem - switching from 640x480 to the screen resolution Try to set the monitors resolution in GEM+ or set it to 640x480 for testing.  |

Bernie Gem does that sometimes if you have more than 1 Gem running. Kill it in Taskmanager or reboot the PC

Bernie Gem does that sometimes if you have more than 1 Gem running. Kill it in Taskmanager or reboot the PC

Sorry to hear Bernie, I saw your message in chat after quallifying, and I thought that you were good to go.
My plan was to show up at the last minute with an old set up and no practice. (I wanted to practice, but it just didn't happen). I knew that I'd have fun riding around near the back of the field. The corners are a lot faster than I remember them.
I had a great time. Thanks Cookie for organizing and good race everyone!

Thanks Walter , really wierd because I had spent at least 4 sessions practising offline and also on Axels server . not changed anything but today I went to load the track and nada . computer said NO !
I could join the server and watched qually & race but clicking on green button to join in kicked me straight back to GEM with the error message .

It was me behind you at the end Pete, Martin had a spin at Adenauer Forst and let us both through. Unlucky Martin. I'd been out, so I didn't join the server in time to do a qualifying lap so I had to start at the back of the grid in 18th. I picked up a couple of places off the line and then found myself behind Paul V. Paul was driving really well and it was hard to find a way past but I managed to squeeze past on the outside at Fuchsröhre. I then chased after Billy but he was driving really well too and there was no way past him either until he made a tiny mistake at Pflanzgarten I. By this time there was about a kilometre gap to the next car. I expected a few drivers to make mistakes which would allow me to catch up but only Martin and Bob had mishaps. The standard of driving is so high now, it is really hard to recover from a bad start. After a huge effort I finally got onto Pete's tail at the end of the last lap but a small mistake by me at Schwalbenschwanz meant I dropped back again and I couldn't slipstream Pete and Andreas down the long straight and try a move into Hohenrain-Schikane. Great racing by Pete and Andreas. Grats to Uli on the win! |
