Thank you for having me, I've recently got back into GPL after a very long haitus, still have my original Papy disk (but not the box!)

Just wanted to ask if there's anyone running online events using the '1967 F1 Extra Mod - Online Edition (2018)' as this seems very stable here. Tried running it without iGOR with a small local group via the ingame tcp/ip mode and everything worked without a hitch.

Is this not a popular mod, and if not, which mod (and patches) do I need for sure?

thanks in advance gents  Smiley

Hi CubbieRoo welcome back

Atm we do not use the 67x - we do 67 original, 55s and Mixed open wheels and CanAm 71

Look here for the races Wink

Thanks Cookie  Smiley  in that case I will probably stick to '67 original' online until I get my speed up in other mods.  I'm probably being dense, but I can't find alternate DL links for the 60fps patch (60fpsV2NewMod) and the Track Gap Freeze Fix Patch V.09 since srmz went down.  Can I get these anywhere else?

I uploaded my options folder to the replay server - so you get all patches at once

You're a star, thank you.
There are 4 60fps patches in there, do I need all of them?

No,
the repair is from Olav Lehmann with pit stop repair
and PTRACER made the online for 69x (no 36fps can join)

For 67 you need 60fpsV2newmod
for 69x the 60fpsV1 and aiV1

If this is the more comprehensive GP67 mod that I believe it to be, I'd love a chance to run some races with the UKGPL.

Me and my friends (up here in Orkney) like it because we can forget about iGOR and it's proving very stable, as well as the low speed/high speed traction tweaks. A lovely mod.  Last night I set up a discord specifically for racing this mod online, anyone please feel free to join:

We're hosting an open test session Saturday eve (UK time) all interest parties are more than welcome.  All race meets will use the '1967 F1 Extra Mod - Online Edition (2018)' mod as standard.
Open testing session:

Time: 19:00 GMT  16/09/2023  (Saturday)
Track:  Monza  (original)
Race:  Intermediate Short
Laps:  21
Practice length:  30mins
ISP:  192.168.1.117  (no password)
Entry opens:  18:50 GMT

Use in-game multplayer menu to join, not iGOR.

Do you run the 60fpsV2newmod ?

iGOR is very stable now as it was taken over by Gaizka Lopez who hosts it
IP = igor.gaiztor.com

with direct IP and VROC you can join with every car/mod and nobody sees it...

We're not using the 60fps mod yet, as we want tests the base-install setup incrementally before adding other mods/patches.
If we have any snags tonight we will no-doubt look at other options, focus being on the fewest number of cogs for a stable setup.

I got the race setup working with iGOR, you're right it seems more stable these days.

I tried a hookup via the IP address given but may have got the start time wrong at my end.  Unable to join.  I'm near Toronto.
