Hi
I would like to change the field of view so that I can see the side mirrors. I have tried changing the setting in GEM, but it does not appear to make a difference. I will try to look at it more tomorrow to see if it is in all the mods, or just the 68 late cars.
Thanks!

EDIT: I will try deleting the gple68.exe and the gpll68.exe files. Maybe it just needs an easy fix.

EDIT x2: YES! that worked. I just needed to delete the exe files. I must have been exhausted last night. I was ready to delete GEM and start over haha.

Walter if you want to see the mirrors of your car you must not change the FOV but the POV

To change the POV you use GPLShift and move your seat backwards.

Thanks, I will have a look at GPL shift in the near future. I was given a replacement g27 shifter. So I should be happy with that set up.

My next project is to replace the nvidia 560ti with a used nvidia 1650. I am sure that I am taking a risk buying a used GPU for my 12 year old overclocked PC. Sooner or later, I will learn to make better decisions.

Hi I opened GPLshift_Patch.exe with wine. The error message says can't find GPL.exe

GPL.exe appears to be in the same folder.

Thanks

On a separate note, The nvidia 1650 works well with the nvidia driver-470, but the newer drivers did not work. I am still using Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon, but I will try 21.1 again soon.

Walter linux is case sensible - for gpl.exe =/= GPL.exe !

Even in 21.2 you have the choice of more than one NV version, here I use 390 cause it is the last to support my Kaffeine
