Season 44 – 1966 Can-Am Championship

This season, races are to be run at 60fps – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod. If you have issues read fester's post.

Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 1966 Can-Am only.
Date: Every second Tuesday from 23rd January 2024
Time: No later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes
Damage Model:  Intermediate - maximum of one reset allowed.
Server: TBA
Race List: IGOR

Handicapping
There are 10 cars and 10 rounds so drivers will drive each car once. If a driver uses a car they have used before, they will be disqualified from that race. All races will begin with a rolling start. When the flag drops all drivers should make a controlled start and remain in their qualifying positions until a point in the first lap (which will be published in the race announcement) where the racing can begin. The final championship positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst 2 results.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

I see that the 67 F2 cars are running intermediate damage but UNLIMITED RESETS .

66 Can Ams have the same damage set at intermediate but show as ONE SINGLE RESET only . is this correct ?

Hi francesco Im not expecting much from this set of races either, Can Ams are very fast and im not  .. LOL
Im wondering if one of the races might be at Roswell, because I can see alot of Aliens have registered to race

I would like to register for this, I have sorted mirrors/gauges for all the other series
but this one I can't see mirrors or gauges... yet

I have gplshift, but I can't adjust with arrow keys. I "Think" it is doing the auto width
that is what is set, but It may be doing nothing. I have set "KA" and commented out the auto setting
but the keys do nothing.

A single mirror at the top will do, I have with one car, maybe in the SC cars not sure which
How do you get that for any car?

I get at least one mirror. most cars both, and the tacho in all but one of the MacLarens and the Ferrari

I have GPLshift0790.zip in my GPL directory, but I can't find any of it's files. I have been reinstalling things
to fix issues, so maybe I removed it. I can't find an existing GPLshift.ini at the moment

Important race tonight, and I am not going to do anything untill tommorow
