Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h14m01s

On lap9, Tristan braked later than usual, partially lost the control and rearended the race leader Alain who could not continue the race... !

It should be a simple rear end shunt so penalty one place for Tristan.
But Alain wrote "I would prefer that no penalty is given".

Perhaps this option should be reviewed for next seasons but according to current usage the moderation will end to a Racing Incident and we again ask Tristan to be more careful in the future.

Short on time but I do have one question for our series moderator, Dave Rainier...

Has an incident report been submitted as yet for Bot taking down Alain from the lead and marching on to victory?  If not, I'd be happy to file one.

No incidents have been reported to date.

treat yourself Yourth, jealousy leads to frustration, you don't have too much time (!) so mind your own business, denunciation is not good for your karma and Alain is old enough to file a complaint.. ...

LOL!  A thoroughly predictable response from 'Monsieur Boule de Démolition'.  Incident report filed, mon ami.

PS: Bot...  Go find yourself another hobby, svp.  You may wish to start here...

Edit: Ricky...  PM received and I have responded.

Please don't argue on the forum gents. An incident report has been submitted and the moderators will deal with it.

No incidents have been reported to date.

That's weird as I had an incident report for Spa, last week, and I believe maybe it was not delivered as well. Maybe the system is broken?

From a P8 starting grid slot to finish P4 might sound like a really good day.  As a result, yes, but in truth, I was not overly pleased with my drive as several times, I went too deep on braking for some corners and had to skirt high to keep it on the road.  It was close thing.  I must complement Jonathon on his excellent judgement for not pile-driving me in the tail as on several occasions, he was oh-so close to making a bid.  Of course, Jonathon had already suffered a misfortune for getting involved with a spin with Axel and lost some places.  I had recently configured my GPLShift programme to give me a 123° view for my 'Look Left' and 'Look Right' buttons on my steering wheel.  I took a peek a few times and more than once I saw that orange nose cone.

So sorry to see my Blue Moose teammie, Evil Clive, lose a superb P3 run so late in the going.  That tiny spin cost him three places.  Groan...

Ricky a fine run to P2 which if there's any justice in this world will ultimately be the win.  Jonny a splendid run in the BRM to P3.  Well done, chaps.

It's not lost on me that the top three in the standings come from the colonies.  Ahem, ahem...  Smiley

When you report an incident, the SROU system requires minimum a week, to give all involved the possibility to make their statement to it.
Then the incident is reviewed by the moderator, and, if not easy to decide, it is discussed in the mod-forum.

You can see the state of the moderation below the results table: e.g. for Spa67/CA66 - "Results are provisional; moderator's review is underway."

Can I just correct Dulima's arithmetic - the gap over the line at the end was 0.112 not a second :-)

And yes, mayyyyybbbee I'd have got you if Syd hadn't been there, but we'll never know. It was great fun though.

After my surprise performance with it at Porto, I took the Honda at the last minute here, because I just could not make the Brabham work round this track. Very lucky decision for me as I seem to gel with that car, and I ended up with a fastest lap about 1.5 secs faster than a car that would have cost me 7 credits more... kinda happy with that, just wish I hadn't spun twice, else I could have been fighting further up the field.

True Arf, I'm sorry, it was a thousandth of a second, we practically crossed the finish line together

Here's to more disputes like this, clean and fun!

And certainly, if it weren't for a mistake at the beginning of the race, you would be much further ahead of the grid and with the White Whale! Good Brother, great race!
