And, is it V1 or V2, of the 66GP mod, and does it need any other patches other than the 67F1
and GEM usual stuff?

Are some of the car meant to have 6 gears?
The 400BHP ones don't feel like 400 BHP

Great racing tonight. Sorry to Phil in Race 2 as I sped into the corner way too quickly after a BIG tow down the straight. Glad you won Race 3. Tris ----  you took the wrong Lotus in the last race. Never mind - it's all for fun. The Lotus with the Climax engine may have had more fuel in it as well 

Grats to all finishers in this fun series. Thanks for organising.

Hope that I didn't wipe out anyone else when I ran out of skill at T1 in race three.

I trust that everyone enjoyed these races, they certainly were full of close racing and intense action. Thanks to all who participated.

Grats to the winners, but there are no points or trophies as this was just a fun series. 

Because it was for fun I took what I thought was the slowest car, the Lotus Climax, but as Phil said it was hopeless on the straights even when revved beyond the red line. However, in the corners it was like it had ground effect!!

Race 1 was a struggle against fast drivers in fast cars, but huge fun getting the slipstream and closing the gaps through the corners.

Race 2 chasing Pete in his Cooper was a great challenge with Tris behind in the 3ltr Eagle and I knew that if I lost the slipstream it would be race over. But again the speed that the Lotus carried through corners kept me in contention. Then, Pete and Tris touched sending Tris off and it was just me and Pete. Several times I had to take avoiding action through the corners because the Pete's Cooper was just SO SLOW!!!  lol. It would not have mattered if I had got past because, without slipstream, Pete could simply breeze past on the next straight....next time a more twisty circuit 

Race 3 and a repeat but chasing Phil's Ferrari. Once again baulked in the corners, but just dead on the straights as Phil proved. Tris joined in with his dodgy Lotus and for 5 laps it was an intense 3 way battle...but sadly Tris ran out of fuel. So again I was chasing a car with so much straight line speed it was a joke lol. But I tried to keep pressure on Phil at every corner. Any chance of a win for me would mean that Phil would need a major mistake and I would not actually wish that on anyone, or maybe........

It has been a long time since UKGPL did "sprint" races, but they do provide some great fun.
