UKGPL Season 44 - 1966 Can-Am -  Bathurst - Apr 16

The 6th race in the CanAm 66 series finds us at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit Bathurst, a motor racing track located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. It is best known as the home of the Bathurst 12 Hour motor race, held each February, and the Bathurst 1000 motor race, held each October. The track is 6.213 km (4 mi) long, and is technically a street circuit, as the circuit is a public road when no racing events are being run, and there are many residences which can only be accessed from the circuit. The track is an unusual design by modern standards, with a 174-metre (570-foot) vertical difference between its highest and lowest points, and grades as steep as 1:6.13. From the start-finish line, the track can be viewed in three sections; the short pit straight and then a tight left turn into the long, steep Mountain straight; the tight, narrow section across the top of the mountain itself; and then the long, downhill section of Conrod Straight, and the turn back onto pit straight to complete the lap.

Please check the Season 44 details regarding rules and the 1966 Can-Am Championship pages in particular.

You have to "drive each car once!"
Only one Shift-R is allowed !!!

As it has shown too difficult to remember for some driver where to start, we make it easy for the rest of the season.

Full 1st Lap ROLLING START

We do a ~100mph (160kmh) rolling, one line, full first Lap to the Start line !
No passing before the start line!
The polesetter is not allowed to slow down between the last corner and start line.

A DQ is the result for ignoring

This will be a lap to cool down and concentrate on the race start - as in RL Wink

Guys, I changed my nVidia Control Panel settings and now my GPL menu is blurry. Do you know a fix for this, as I cannot remember exactly what settings I changed.

If I remember correctly, I think you need Trilinear Filtering to be off.

Maybe you mean texture filtering? I can't find the one you suggest. Smiley

The name keeps changing but it is trilinear something. It is a toggle on/off so try it off and see if it helps.

Looking at Matt's it could be triple buffering (begins with T  Roll Eyes). Sorry but I'd need to go on my computer to check.

Thanks guys, I found the solution:

The track menu and replay buttons are blurry, or they seem to degrade or melt
1- If you have an NVIDIA card, open the NVIDIA Control Panel and switch Antialiasing - FXAA to OFF.

Yes, the rear end jumps 1m in the air when you start to brake down from 200mph...

I've had to reset my router. Could someone please see if you can connect to UKGPL07 today and let me know any issues. I'm not sure that I've put port forwarding back to where it was. Thanks.

I've put the port forwarding settings on this page if you need it Pete. I've created the page for reference just in case the usual GPL sites are down, but it also includes a link to the patched iGOR for multiple hosting (the site I originally got that from has gone  Sad).

I connected & drove a couple of laps - seemed ok.
Admittedly, it was just me visiting.
