If a race was held at each of the tracks in the previous post and the results mirrored the world record standings. Awarding points according to UKGPL's point scoring system would give some indication as to the performance of a chassis over an entire season rather than in any particular race. The table below shows how this works out and implies that the Brabham BT19 Repco is slightly better than the Ferrari 312 over a season. As the world records improve this situation may change but it does give some indication of the relative performance of the various chassis over a season. The actual points scoring races the chassis competed in have been included in the table. It makes an interesting comparison.
