It was a good race in the beginning with Roo (
) making the better of the start and going into the lead and he was fast on cold tyres and full tanks as well as being fast on the straight, so passing him wasn't an option early on. Eventually I got a good run out of the last corner and made it through. He managed to keep the pace for quite a few laps after that, but later dropped back and I could relax a bit. As far as I remember backmarkers behaved well and I could push for some fast laps near the end.
Phil, I really don't expect people to just get out of the way the moment they see me on their mirrors, I can make a pass on my own as long as they don't try to race me when I go side by side with them. So if possible just ignore me and don't worry about it, I don't want to spoil anyone else's race.
