Hmmmm, yes I was aware of that in the early stages John and put it down to cold tyres for the first two laps, along with your usually cautious and measured approach to these races.
I almost committed the cardinal sin of taking both of us out of the race after a few laps when ( to me at least
) you seemed to slow down when I expected you to be hard on the gas. A quick detour through the grass and dust avoided the collision, and the armco, and I followed you for another lap.
Then, bu**er me lol, I was caught out again in the same place!!, but this time I think there was some warp contact and it spelt the beginning of the end for my race as there was damage to my steering/suspension which got progressively worse as I repeatedly clipped barriers etc.
I agree with comments posted earlier that Solitude is a track that demands 100% concentration at all times, there is nowhere to rest as even the flat out section isn't straight!! and as for those twisty bits..if you miss your apex on one corner then the next three are compromised and its no good trying to maintain maximum attack.
Big thankyou to EOLC and a comprehensive thrashing of UKGPL except for John who at least prevented a total whitewash.
Maybe next time...........
