Hi Rick, welcome to UKGPL, there is no registration thread for Season 18 in any division yet so you can't register at the moment.
Stick around on the forums and when the registration threads are posted you'll be sure to see them.

Great! Thanks for the reply. I'll keep a eye out for Season 18 registration.

If you'd like to race the last 2 races of this season (Silverstone and Monza IIRC), then cast your vote in this thread and announce your sign-up! Lord Vader knows we need the numbers in Division 1 at the moment.

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10. Why the hell do I keep crashing then?!

Yes Rick, you are more than welcome to join the last two races of the current season, if only to find out how much faster than the rest of us you are and get a taste of life in the fast lane? There are always a few spare places on the grid, so provided you do not take out the current points leaders at the first corner there should be no problem.

Plus it would be a good practice for doing pitstops that are part of D1 (although not sure if we retain the format for next season).

OK! I'm in for the last two races. Not sure which car to choose. Maybe I'll pick a medium car like the Brab to get my feet wet. What are the stop and go times for the various chassis?

It changes from race to race, so you have to wait for the race announcement. Usually it's no stop for BRM, stop and go for Cooper/Honda, 10-20 secs for Brabham/Ferrari, and more for the rest. But it can differ from track to track, i.e. Monza vs Monaco.

You can get it on this page just look under race announcements paragraph.

What time do we race at my house? I'm normally at GMT -6 but right now (with daylight savings time) I'm at GMT -5. Is the race at 9pm (2100hrs) GMT or are you guys also on DST? Or put another way... what the hell time will the race be this Sunday in the USA central time zone?!

Hi Rick, Firstly I've made sure you're registered as a reserve (should have no issues joining the race but wait till 30 minutes left) so you should see the password when it's published. Races start at 9pm UK time (BST) = 8pm GMT which, I believe, is 3pm US central time (ie GMT -5).

Published in the chatroom? I'm pretty sure I've gotten myself into the chatroom. Added it via VROC as UK GPL and that seemed to work though nobody else was there to make me be 100% sure. FWIW I'll be racing the Ferrari. I've never raced it in competition so it should be interesting. Looking forward to the race!

You'll see the password in the race thread a while before race starts, not given out in the chatroom.
