I'll be there - propping up the back end of the Novs grid for UKGPL. If there is Shift R I might even finish.
Seems to be a lot of takers for the BRM (my usual chassis). Will taken the Honda or Brab (BT11)

The drivers who have been competing in the the Amateurs and Novices divisions will take priority but if there is a space I'm sure you'd be welcome. BTW since you have an SRou account and can post on the forums, you are a member What ever happens, you will definately get the chance to have a go in some of our summer fun races before season 18 starts (probably in early September).

Cheers Phil, see you on the black stuff. Only because Phil has a software patch that turns his grass black.

Last orders on this one gentlemen - deadline for entries is today. Looks like there is a disparity in numbers vs GPL Racer. A note will follow of how we will deal with it once all entries are in...

OK we are now past the deadline and numbers stand as follows; UKGPL – 19 GPLR – 13
So you all get to drive we are planning on running two grids of 16. Also, we were going to pull those to be lent to GPL Racer by lottery, but I think this could potentially create an unfair advantage against us ie Hristo, Clive, John, Jethro or other seasoned interleaguers could end up with GPLR. Hence plan is as follows;
Grid One – 5 experienced / interleague drivers + 3 by lottery.
Grid Two – 2 experienced / interleague drivers + 6 by lottery.
The remaining three drivers will be lent to GPLR. Two of these will be Geoff and myself as we also drive in their league. No offence Stiggy but I’d like to place you as the third, that way all the current regulars get to drive with UKGPL.
If anyone who hasn’t signed up is still keen to drive please post here as we need reserves (you will probably be squeezed into the race).
As regards team captains it wouldn’t be appropriate for me, although I will be running the admin side which will involve the initial chassis allocation. I am going to take the liberty of foisting the job on an experienced driver from each grid. The team captains will then organise tactics and sort out any chassis shuffles.
I’m now working on the specific grid allocations and an update will follow shortly. Feel free to comment in the meantime.

Sounds logical, thanks for including me in the race

Further to my earlier post, grids are as follows; Grid OneHristo (captain) Mike B Jethro Clive Fulvio James R Mark Minardi Al Heller Billy NB Grid TwoTim FMG (captain) John R Mike J (team weatherman) Bookie W Natan Happy Al Sam B Peter M Stiggy GPLR now have a full grid so Peter and Stiggy are in. Still looking for a couple of reserves if anyone is interested?I’m going to leave it to the grid captains to come up with the chassis allocations. Agreed the following for each grid; 2 * Lotus 2 * Ferrari 1 * BRM 1 * BT11 1 * Honda 1 * Cooper 1 * BT7 GPL Racer will be looping the circuit in IGOR if you want to suss out the opposition and their driver list is posted here http://forum.gplracer.eu/topic.php?id=630&highlight=&page=3& I will open two separate posts in the Race Thread section so team captains can organise their grids. Remember the total points in both grids will be added together to get the final result. I will hand over to your captains now. My tidbit of advice to anyone a bit daunted by Pro and running with the more experienced drivers is remember you need to complete 60% of the race to score (points run all the way down the grid) and there’s three points if you finish (even a lap down) so longevity is the key. There’s a bonus ten points if the whole team finishes so worth thinking about who is behind you…
