I think that the track and scenery are the prettiest that I have seen yet.

I prefer the shorter tracks though.

We're using Clermont 65 by Martijn and not Charade, right?
Yes, it only reads Charade on the event calendar as that is what is loaded into the srou database.

Uhm, why not use the proper Clermont then? Charade is so wrong and ugly, lol. It's still good for racing, but...
To clarify - the database track selection on the srou/ukgpl list only has Charade set up - I put that as we have to use something when posting the race thread. We ARE actually running on the proper Clermont-Ferrand 65 track.
All an internal system thing to allow import of the results - if the track becomes a regular we'll arrange to load it up on the database under CF...

Am I right in thinking the Charade version is a bit bland, and the proper one which I've been practising the BRM with and loving throwing round the corners has lots of trees and is infinitely prettier? Also, is the one we raced in the BREASTS triple-header towards the start of S17 Charade?

I'm so annoyed beyond belief. Bigging myself up for this race, practicing more than I normally do, and I go to join the server and it's full.  Angry

We all did. Shame you didn't come back to the chatroom, Mike. Great racing anyway and funny when we both flipped up down that banking.  Cheesy

Apologies for the mass disco.
Seems the server crashed, went into 'GPL not responding mode' and I couldn't connect to it remotely.
It was not an internet issue so this is one we need to re-test. Will find a date to squeeze it in.
Aside from that seemed to be a lot of positive feedback re the track, great to see so many people.

Many thanks to Clive L for getting his breasts out and saving the day  Grin - much appreciated
