Hi all,

The next track on the novices schedule is Laguna Seca. On the GPL track database, http://gpltd.bcsims.com/?dis=L&menu=Show_Letters, there are three versions to choose from. Can anyone confirm which one we'll be using as I would like to download it and start practicing over the weekend.

Thanks,

Ross

I agree, looks a bit more open, and quicker, than the more recent ones, whilst still having the challenge of the Corkscrew.

It would be a change after the twists and turns of Keimola, which was a bit mickey mouse and tough to overtake on.

Well, Laguna is tough to overtake on as well, mostly because of the concrete tires (like Mexico), but it has an excellent flow to it. I think Keimola has a very nice flow as well, despite being tight and twisty.

T1-T3 at 67 Laguna just feel great though.

Pardon?! Are you nuts?! It rivals Mexico in the "oh my god if I hit any more of them polos I will kill somebody" stakes.

So? That just makes it more challenging, it has a great flow. You prefer the mickey mouse (and ugly) modern version? It's terribly slow and boring in GPL cars. Kinda like comparing the 60s and modern Oulton versions for GPL.

I've always had fantastic league races at the 67 version.
