and how! It is why I took the Porsche but I forgot about Nurby. Funny thing was, I thought you were serious about taking the Porker again and I was looking forward to a race with you  Good time to try one of the heavier tanks I think then Paul. I`m doing this one in a GT40 Mk1 because Nurby isn't a power track and the MK1 has a 5 speed box so it shouldn't be that bad around here. The Mirage, Lola and Ferrari also have 5-speed boxes so they might be ok too but cost more tokens and the extra worth of those cars extra power is not really worth it around here IMO. Anyhow, I`m only aiming to lap around the 10-minute level to try and avoid wrecking the car so another nice easy run to the flag is in order I think! |

Sorry for the confusion Paul. No I was always planning on using anything but the Porsche for these extra races in a vain attempt to learn something about the other cars. Early days with one outing in the Mk2B confirmed that they have no useful visibility and are a little large for safe racing? Don't laugh but I have got the Ferrari 330 penciled in for Adelaide!!! I'm struggling to keep the Lotus on track for the Novs race tonight at Adelaide so god knows how the Ferrari 330 will fair. What fun.

I have done around 50-60 laps... i can proudly say i know it by hearth... great track. And i can do smooth laps around 11-12 mins in 67's... but i think il pass. Just tried gt's and Il have to lerearn the ring again with them... too narrow I have driven gt's and they are eazier than 67's...especialy the porcshe. But not on twisty tracks it seems... |
