Applying the points systems to a 4-race series, without dropping worst results, proves nothing to how it relates to the 10-race divs. If anything, it's true that it rewards attendance over fighting for higher position in the race. Besides, you're giving points even to those who retired and didn't cover the 50% distance, which is what we'll have next season.

Anyway, my bigger concern right now is the screen freeze that a couple of us experienced, myself and Goran at the same time, which hints there's something going on at server's end.

There was some muttering about that I did not do a S&G after my shifr-r at Silverstone but I can not see anything about it in the race announcements so I guess I did not have to do it, right Paul?

That was a close run thing!!  grats to Fulvio and Ronnie and everyone who joined in.

Thanks to Paul, for a nice mixture of events...the F2's were something completely different, which is probably why I was rubbish in that event  lol!

You're right Goran, sry for the confusion, too many league races Smiley
Anyway I binned the win at Silver at last lap when I went out at T1 to not rear end a Lotus that braked early than me. I had to reset and in the meantime Goran passed by and as it was last lap I went to pit to stop and go before pass the S/F line. Luckily I didn't manage to stop before the line so Clive was still third. The comic is that at midrace I waited for Goran thinking he had had a crash lapping a car so it wasn't fair to let him in the dust and we could have had a nice battle till the end. In effect Goran didn't have a crash, but he blew the engine and had to reset ;(

Hristo I have still to check if there was a problem on the server during the race, anyway talking with JR after the race he confirmed that Brands67 has many freez problems as a track and GT mod doesn't help on that. Many, me included had very bad fps for all the first lap. When we raced last time with GT at Brands this didn't happen. So I'm asking if a full field of Porsche could be the culprit. And again I suspect that Paul didn't set the bandwith parameters appropriately, so this could be a problem too. I think we have to check again the Porsches before start the season IMO.
I checked Brands replay and Hristo and Goran got disco at the very same time, there were other discos?

Two apologies to make - one I should have set the server bandwidth to 132 - it was 384 - sorry about that and two, I should have made it clear about the Shift R not requiring a stop n go.

I wasn't trying to prove anything about the points system, I just thought it would be interesting, As Hristo says, it is too short a series but it does provide a real life example.

Next year I am going to provide tracks I can actually drive lol.

I hope people enjoyed it - it was strange being the organiser - felt like a prefect Wink

That is me done for season 20. I am off for a holiday in Tenerife now so I will see you all after Easter.

Probably was 84 then. 384 is out of the box (or at least it is for me). I didn't do an override at all. the only other thing was to put on a restriction of 500ms on the ping but that really should be ok?

Happened to just accidently join this event, by following Martin after his practice...

Love the Porky, even driving a setup I once made for my son was nice and handsome.
Had no idea of fuel consumption, so had to make a s+r with a lap to go Smiley

The great adventure was Silverstone, I know this track well by some GT events and by the driving lesson of Bernd Novak.
In between the two events I searched my archive for a Silver setup and found a RE setup for Lotus.
Just sat in the car and drove...
Went better and better every lap, of course with my being overcautious, but at the end had a nice fight with Martin which ended in a great crash.
Prib was showing the leaders from behind before the last corner, so I gave place to what I thought were them... 
So lost a place cause this italian Brabham had smuggled between Grin

We've raced Brands so often, Fulvio, and not just in UKGPL. It's a solid track and I never experienced a freeze at it before. Only long ago, before it was patched up. Perhaps you have an older version installed on the server? Doubt it though... it's not just Brands, other tracks have been freezing lately, tracks which are otherwise stable and have been used without an issue in the past.
