Moderator's Report

The first race of this season had two big chain reaction pile-ups in the red zone!
No other incidents reported...

Server replay time: 0h00m53s

Natan profits from Raonis poor Keyboard start and is on the right side up the hill, but he pulls over to the left too early and is caught by the wide crashbox of Raoni who is unaffected.
Natan spins, but Clutch and David can't avoid to crash into him.

Server replay time: 0h01m18s

The second chain reaction pile-up we had at the Rosaleda hairpin.
Ronnie follows warping Tim who brakes hard into the hairpin, Ronnie just kisses Tims rear, who is not much affected.
But Ronnie comes to a near halt and Raoni can't avoid crashing into him.
Both fly high in the air and Andreas and Al are victims of the carnage.

As there was some warp involved I tend to call it a RI!

WELCOME to the UKGPL Season 24 - Pro Trophy - Round 1

For the opening race we go to Spain to the classic street circuit at Montjuich Parque.
The circuit was the venue for the Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix from 1950 to 1968, and then hosted F1 cars on even-numbered years until 1976. The last F1 Grand Prix held there in 1975, is notable for a fatal crash that led to Formula One abandoning the venue.

The specific division rules for the Pro Trophy have changed as the INT division has been suspended.

The Pro Drivers will have a free car choice. Drivers will have to remain in that chassis for the rest of the season, they will only be allowed to swap chassis in exceptional circumstances and only with the approval of the moderator.

Handicapping will be introduced from race three onwards and will only affect the top three drivers in the championship. The top three drivers may, at the moderator's discretion, be limited to a slower car. If handicapping is in action then handicapped drivers will be notified in the race post.
We race this season in INT mode with 1x limited SHIFT-R with a Stop n Go of 0 seconds

There will be full moderation of lap one Red Zone and reported incidents for the rest of the race.
Please submit incident reports within a week after the race so that the moderators report may be out before the next race.
Full time drivers have priority access to the server until 21.00 UK time.
Please restrict your chat to a minimum!

Yes Ray, sorry,
we had  to change, to make the last minute fusion not too tough for some Int drivers.
The track order is changed for better practice server synchronization.

I hope you will enjoy the races nonetheless Roll Eyes

Wouldn't racing at Glen make it easier actually? Montjuic is much more difficult.  Tongue

We do race at Glen, just a little later  Wink
There is the intention to have a more difficult track in the unhandicapped part of the season...

Had just been relegated back to 4th when I suddenly got disco'd. Guessing it's down to Virgin's far from great service around Bristol as Clive was warping a bit and disco'd 10 minutes before I did  Sad

Shame, I was really starting to get to grips with the 1512 again and enjoy myself.

Well done to who-ever won!

Screen-freeze for me 10 laps from end.

Someone landed on me at start & I was relegated to the back. Had fun racing Clutch, Dave & Ronnie - sorry Ron for our touch at hairpin - I haven't seen replay yet but I was trying to leave you room.

Got to say I'm really disappointed to see that we're not using PRO rules in 65's now. It just doesn't feel right to me having the "premier" 65 series allowing resets. I know a lot of others prefer it like that, but maybe it's not for me.

Int mode was a compromise for the fusion with Ints, but if all agree I am happy to switch back to pro mode!

Great race! Grats Hristo and all the finishers.

It would seem right to go Pro... Just my opinion though. Let Cookie know what you think.

I'd prefer if we're running Pro.
