On reflection wish I had not chosen this track. Lots of stupid errors so took an early bath.

Unsurprising Lap 1 chaos... Even though I was SUPER careful. I still managed to rear end somebody whilst trying to thread the needle at about 3mph and then the car exploded. Got stuck in a hay bale on Lap 1 so I was dead last and I stayed there. Got stuck off track and could hear another lost soul... got back on track but got a black flag and a DQ... stupid game... hehe.

Got wrecked twice within 10 secs and did need 2 resets. Sorry for continuing for a while, knew I would be DQ-ed anyway.
Thought about having some fun mixing it in with the BT14, but I was wrong...

Grats to Roberto and Marco on the top podium positions. I have to apologise to a few drivers I think I was feeling quite confident of getting a good result and maybe even an outside chance of a win in the Brabham, especially when I got pole position with full race fuel on board, and it was not even a perfect lap. Roberto outdragged me off the start and I thought about playing "chicken" into the left right combo at the bottom of the hill, but decided that it was too risky so early in the race and I would try and slipstream him up the long straight. However, that did not happen and I was punted off from behind as we approached the right hander onto the straight and I found myself amongst some young ladies and trees on the outfield!?!?! This is where things get misty...very red and very misty!! For the next few laps I was driving like a looney and desperate to close the huge gap to Roberto as quickly as possible Needless to say , I made some stupid mistakes and eventually I nerfed Marco (?) I think. Despite all of the impacts the Brab was still driving OK....until I got it too wide into the grass at the hairpin and the sticky grass grabbed me. I had to use a S/R and a SnG which dropped me back even further. This time I was still mad...but more with myself for being such a right t*t!! so I slowly wound up the wick on the Brabham, trimming a few tenths off on each clear lap and picking off places until I eventually got to 3rd and ran out of time and laps to get any further. Apologies to anyone I frightened or touched...it was not me it was the red demon on my shoulder.....honest it was

At Monsanto, I discovered the best way to escape a roadblock, caused by the leaders doing a tangle, was to do a backflip over the obstruction, check for missing parts, and continue bravely with what's still available! I managed a few laps thereafter in a worthy position, but needed debailing, after failing at a left hander. Watched 5 cars go, "Bye," and scurried towards the tail. Managed to finish anyway, as graphical issues were less than previously reported, though not entirely destroyed. I have reserved some grumbling space, in case of need.

I think. Clive, I am hurt! I was me you 'nerfed'.....assuming your definition of nerfing is my definition of nerfing....er...that's two races in a row you've affected my race and apologised to someone else!! Was it something I said? Anyway, on Lap5 you were behind me. You'd been closing on me, dropping back, and coming up at me, so I knew a pass was probable. However, I feel you made a very late lunge on a corner with only one line through it and... nerfed up my race.... I'm pretty sure you will have a successful claim for the incident that knocked you back, and I feel I should report you to balance things out....just not sure I can be bothered. I will try not to mention this again, but this reminds me why I object so strongly to my fairly won P2 at Brands being erased from history due to problems with the other server..you have to take incidents like Monsanto on the chin, and don't get the benefit for what you have done. I'd love to say I won't contest the rerun on principle, but its more to do with not being in the country on that date.. Arf

ok, not in the same league by any means (& I was on the troublesome server) - but I was more than happy with making it to the end of that Brands race & my 5th place. Was just trying to drive around the server issues/lack of visibility - an online equivalent of dusty eyes/blurry vision maybe? Now I've ended up with a bit of a rant & posted in an inappropriate location! I'll try to bring this back with I'm not sure I like the way I was top of the list of drivers involved in the Monsanto L1T1 incident; hopefully it was just alphabetical order...!

Dave, I didn't understand this line, and I'm not sure if you are talking about my comments or yours (those in your last post don't sound like a rant), so just to be clear - there were a number of problems faced by the mods that night, and I don't think there was anything else they could do for the Grid B folks. As far as I understand it there were no issues with the Grid A race/replay, so I don't understand why we've been dragged into a rerun. However, I don't want to make the mods lives any more difficult than they already are, so these are my last words on the matter. Arf

Apologies - that was re: my comment only.
I was just chiming in [but obviously not helping] as there was a mention of an unfruitful/wasted Brands outing. Initially, I had not realised you are in the 'other' group - after all, I never see the guys I'm with, let alone GroupA members!
No offense/distress intended anywhere. Yes, the mod-team do sterling work. Realistically, it's probably fair to say the GroupB re-run is not a personal attack on my lucky end-position that night.

IIRC LM2 lists the drivers in surname alphabetical order, so yes it could well have been.
