Season 34 WORKS – Round 8 –  Laguna Seca

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the number of registrations for this series we will be splitting into two grids for the rest of the sesaon. All drivers have been allocated to either Works or Privateers. If you don’t know check the link for Driver Lists below. If you have not already voted to join the Privateers championship you will need to do so to see the password.

Laguna Seca is a paved road racing track in central California used for both auto racing and motorcycle racing, built in 1957 near both Salinas and Monterey, California, United States.
The racetrack is 2.238 miles (3.602 km) long, with a 180 feet (55 m) elevation change. Its eleven turns are highlighted by the circuit's signature turn, the downhill-plunging "Corkscrew" at Turns 8 and 8A. A variety of racing, exhibition, and entertainment events are held at the raceway, ranging from superkarts to sports car racing to music festivals. The name Laguna Seca is Spanish for "dry lagoon": the area where the track now lies was once a lake, and the course was built around the dry lake bed.

P2 and happy -no dropout..uff!
A middle-quality start and I had to let pass Tristan, that was it. I never could close the gap to him. He´s so fast! Clive hunted me 3 or 4 laps and then he was gone -that took away the pepper..

thx for racing!

Grats to the podium and all finishers.

I was not focused properly and was sliding the rear of my Brabham too much, which overheated the rear tyres and I paid the price when the tail snapped out at the bottom of the hill and the car hit the fence hard........end of race  Undecided

It was good fun chasing Tim in his Honda for the first few laps, he was faster in some sections and I had the advantage in different areas. It might have been a good race if I had concentrated properly  Undecided

Congratulations to Tristan the winner and Tim fantastic with Hondola!
I particularly do not like Laguna Seca short, I know it's the 67 version but I do not have much motivation, I believe Cooper would be the correct car but I do not really have a good adaptation to this track.

it would be bad to put all together? works and privaters? it is clear that some riders should not run and join the two would be interesting.
